Thanks for all the awsome entries so far!! I'd like to see a few more options without color and/or monochromatic. I really like this one that came from another tournament:

I'd like to see some of the finalists try their logos with the "SDG" to see how versatile the emblems can be. Thanks everyone!

I'm still not seeing the perfect logo. Perhaps our color suggestions are off? maybe some reds or oranges? I uploaded a file with a few cool logos on it. upper right and lower left are interesting.

definitely looking for more modern.

perhaps the leaf and tree aren't going to work. plays on the letters might be a next step to consider as well.

We have not yet seen a logo that looks like any of our logos selected for inspiration. Those are simple and modern - sometime lacking color. simple line drawings. We don't need the logo to have a tree or a leaf or roots - those were simply ideas we had, but they don't seem to be working. let's try some fresh ideas that forget what we've seen so far.

Liking that we're thgetting noting out of the box. I'd like to see some ideas that implement some element that at least gives the idea that we're in the home building industry, if possible

Question, what is your definition of "out of the box"? There are anumber of good submisisn that are on par with styles you've selected.

I've uploaded a few sketches to work from. Disclaimer: I'm not a great artist and execution is needing help on all of these.
