I would like to have the flexibility to have this logo to be able to be animated as well. Here are a few starting points.
PLEASE READ!!
I would like to have the flexibility to have this logo to be able to be animated as well. Here are a few starting points. 1) Some sort of Cold Front looking thing, with a surfer riding the front and maybe the front curling over. But not cheesy. 2) In a tornadic thunderstorm, you get a "Hook" like appearance when looking at a radar loop. Maybe have a surfer or car or something surfng the hook. (or a flying cow) 3) I want the words "Surfing the Front" on one line maybe on top of the logo, then "Storm Chasing Tours' on the bottom. . Thanks so much. I am really looking forward to it. Brian
Also, here is what a hook eco looks like on a radar. Imagine this moving forward. It actually looks like a wave breaking on itself. Awesome!! http://i40.tinypic.com/of25cg.png

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Hey All, I am really excited about this contest. As you can see by my briefing, this kind of company if VERY unique and I am looking forward to a very unique, defining logo.. I would like to have the flexibility to have this logo to be able to be animated as well. Here are a few starting points.
1) Some sort of Cold Front looking thing, with a surfer riding the front and maybe the front curling over. But not cheesy. These are cold fronts (blue) and warm fronts (red). Imagine them curling over like an ocean wave. http://www.hpc.ncep.noaa.gov/noaa/noaa.gif
2) In a tornadic thunderstorm, you get a "Hook" like appearance when looking at a radar loop. Maybe have a surfer or car or something surfng the hook. (or a flying cow) Also, here is what a hook echo looks like on a radar. Imagine this moving forward. It actually looks like a wave breaking on itself. Awesome!! http://i40.tinypic.com/of25cg.png http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Kansas_2003_tornado_radar.gif
Of course this is a very bad representation of what I want but please give it a go!! Thanks..
Notice on this type of radar scan there is the part of the "hook" where it looks like it's curling over? Flip it upside down and open it up like a wave. http://i40.tinypic.com/of25cg.png
Well, how about you make it much wider inside, and the surfer is coming right out of the curl towards the screen. Then off on the bottom then off of the top right you can have the warm front(red) and going down along the left side you can have the cold front.
Please leave comments for each designer on the designer's page. you can access each designer's page by double clicking any of the above images. This will direct you to the designer page where you can leave individual comments.
Well, seems like my current thinking is not really working out.. Please feel free to share you idea of a storm chasing tour company as well as stock imagery.
I've just found this Contest and I wanted to say to the CH that I abolutely love you work. This is my kind of stuff so I'll be submiting for you shortly. Thanks!
So here is a picture of ME in a tube.. See how I am coming right towards the camera? That's what I was thinking for the surfer. Not the sideways surfer..
