Supply GenieLogo Design Contest

Supply Genie is an online start up offering an alternative to the nightmare of visiting the local discount store to gather the required school supplies. I will also offer specialty children’s backpack and novelty items.

I need a memorable logo/mark, something that pops. An image combined with our name will work but I want an image that will stand on it's own too. If the image is seen without the words/title with it I want someone to automatically think 'Supply Genie'. This will be used online and in print advertising. May be used on t-shirts too.

I hope this is not too tall of a request. I've seen some really great work out here, and know you can do it! Let me know if you have questions. -- C

Thank You ALL for the work. It's truly getting harder and harder each day and the design keep coming in, but several great ideas is good problem to have. Below are some thoughts I'd like to share with everyone. Things I did not know when this process started.

- No Script Fonts, they are not working for me.
- Needs to read well in color and black/white (Color 1st, B/W 2nd).
- I'm open to a wide range of concepts.

I am open to many things and attempting to narrow with comments as the ideas come in, please be sure to read as more specifics are with the designs. The logo does not have to include a lamp or genie.... it could be just the name designed well or the initials SG and the name supply genie (SG being done as the Image). Just another idea.

I like the new fun designs. This will be a site visited by children so Fun is important. I found some things I like on the internet. I don't know all the rules or designer codes of conduct about ideas of other pieces out there BUT these are things I like and thought they may be used as inspiration.

http://mascot.fasticon.com/ -- I like the genie...keep reading. The genie is not necessarily for the logo but use within the site pages. Yes this contest is for a logo but if you do this type of art I need to know this.

All - I am open to the use of a Slogan or tag line within the designs. Some possibilities include:
Trade the School Supply Mayhem for Supply Genie Magic (which is too long)
Magic, Not Mayhem

Or anything else you can come up with....
Not a requirement or letting you know it's okay.
