did a clean and subtle design with a lamp and pencils coming out like the wish...hope you like it. colors can change to suit.

Like the concept. Pencils idea may work, like it, but hard to tell they are actually pencils right now (Understand that it is a first draft). Supply in a color preferred. Too much gold. Thank you! -- C

alternate to #20...made it larger and made the pencils more noticeable...let me know if you have any more suggestions. feedback is great!

mixed it up a little and added some smoke to the pencils to add to the effect of them coming out of the lamp.

When I first looked at 23 I thought you had twisted the pencils. Then after looking harder saw the smoke. I think I like smoke that is more wispy, or thin. Not sure. For color I don't like the lamp the same color as the words. But both words can, don’t have to be, the same color so long as it is different than the lamp color. Thanks for the entries, will rank soon. -- C

#24 just came in while I was typing. Thanks, favorite of the concept. Like the shadow below. Colors are good. Thinking about the font (maybe too much), don't care for the font on #23. I feel sometimes I may toss out an idea or suggestion and frankly it just does not work...why I am not a designer....so please feel free to say so if you think something just won’t work or is not your style. I wonder what a less formal lamp would look like. I know some things can be refined after a decision on a concept is made, you guys put a lot of work in and I don’t want to create more. Just ideas.

Thanks for all your work. On #24 I was wondering if a shadow behind the pencils would be better than the smoke. I like the shadow under the lamp. Like the font of 20 and 22. On 22 can the letters be spread out just a bit more, looks crowded. On 20 the fade is strong. Can it be less? Or possibly be highlights rather than a fade.

so do you want the concept, colors and layout of #24, the shadow and font from #20 with more space between the lettering?

Sorry for the delay. Yes, I think so. If you'd like to try a color variation that would be fine too. The font of 20 and 22 has a 'fun factor' to it. I consider the light green of 23 a fun color too. Also, what time zone are you in? Thanks - C

#32 better without pencils on this one. Still looking and reviewing. Like what you did on 31 but seem to be drawn to the text of 22. (I know I said to spread them but I think I was wrong) The blue on 31 is off too me. You may need to go girly.

Not a fan of the pencils with the last lamp(69). And possibly seeing too many lamps because I tossed out the idea of doing just a name logo or initial without a lamp or genie referenced. Possibly something like wicked grill. Not that it would work with the wicked grill concept but I did run across a font called Animated Gothic on fonts.com. If you have something similar I'd like to see one 56 or 20 in it. Thanks -- C

here is one similar in style to the wicked grill design i did...it uses my pencils rather than flames and a different font and coloring obviously. i also minimized the size of the lamp. i think the lamp is fairly important to creating an icon that instantly is associated to both your name and what you do. I also think the pencils help with this as they are without a doubt symbolic of school supplies.

version with just your name and the pencils coming from the "g" in genie instead of a lamp...something to mix it up a little.
