Super Star Dog CareLogo Design Contest

Please make all future logos with Superstar as one word, after seeing it in the logos, it definitely looks better. Also, let me know if you have any questions about direction or style or any other information I can give to help guide you all better. Adding comments to all submitted designs now.

#28 like it, different style from other submissions, i feel it's missing a little "zing" to make it pop a bit more. #27 not sure about the solid background, and definitely dont like the red/yellow combo, reminds me of McDonalds

#30 great! layout looks good. I'd like to see a few different color treatments. I like the louder colors rather than the muted ones in this one.

#31 good stuff, i think the dog is a bit too aggressive looking... it has more of a feel of a club bouncer. Like the font treatment. Go ahead and lose the services tag on the collar. Not sure about the red color on the collar either

#35 #36 #37 dont really care for, also 35 and 36 too many distracting colors. I like the direction #32 is going in. Like the paws on the sign. Would like to see it fleshed out more, it feels like a rough draft... it just not that eye catching.

#38 I like the different choice of colors, eye catching without being obnoxious. Dog character is great, simple yet refined. The only thing I don't like is the name, I feel Superstar should be the focal point of the name and I don't think dog needs to be that big since there is the big graphic dog as the centerpoint of the logo. Font itself is decent, playful and legible, but would like to see a couple different font treatments to compare.

#40 not too fond of. #41 Really like the idea! Only things are that it feels like our company is the star, not a customer's dog (which is hinted at by using a generic dog mascot), would like to see it reworked a bit to emphasize a dog character. Not sure if that will happen and maintain the hollywood "walk of stars" feel.

#42 and #43 Are they identical? Font is better, but would prefer to see "dog" smaller in the name, perhaps try a few different font layouts and sizes. Actually liked the angle of the dog character in the first one. I like how it "fits" with the star better, but perhaps there is another solution?

#44 #60 #61 Like the new dog bone. I like both the "inline" treatment in #44 and #60 but still prefer the "all-in-one" like #61. The only thing that's nitpicking me is that my eye seems drawn the to scarf a bit too much, and not quite enough separation between the scarf and "Star", whether it's a color, layout or shape issue I don't know.

#45 I can't stop laughing when I look at that grinning dog, I love it! Fantastic, Very memorable. Can we try a few different fonts for SUPERSTAR? The background color I'm also not too fond of, not sure what other colors would work better for me, perhaps a cooler color like more toward purple or blue or ? This is a very minor point, the bottom two points of the star's "angle lines" follow the shoulder lines of the dog a little too closely. I could live with it in a final logo, but perhaps there is a non-obtrusive solution.

#50 Eyes definitely give this guy more personality, and like the paws too, and the other enhancements. It's a great logo, but there's so many good choices.

#51 #52 #53 Sorry, I just don't see the shooting star thing working here, it's a great idea, but something about it needs to change.

#54 #55 I like the dog which looks like he's going "HEYYY!" like the fonzi. With the name layout please make Superstar the same size or slightly bigger than dog care. I actually still prefer #28 over your other entries, would like to see some minor variations with #28 as the base idea.

#56 #57 prefer #56 of these two... like the IDEA of it, but I think the execution needs some work. There is too much color variation going on and "Dog Care" is really hard to read... and it seems to be missing polish, but I like the direction it's going.

#58 #59 Like the use of shapes in the letters, that is a popular motif, especially with pet related logos. I would like to see a more playful "hollywood" style treatment to your dog character. Right now it feels more "Joe Cool" who just won the olympics. It's good to see a different take on "superstar" than hollywood, but I definitely like the hollywood style treatment more.

There are so many seriously talented designers, this has become increasingly difficult!

#62 I like the color change on the dog. Still love the clean and bold design. Very, very good logo. #63 Interesting use of "bling" around the star, but I think it ends up being a bit too distracting.

#64 Best one of yours for sure! I like the dog with the stars, good size and definitely dynamic, but the name treatment needs some polish.

#68 like the "hollywood" treatment and red carpet, but it makes it a bit busy. #69 Great dynamic logo, overall too femme to appeal to both men and women tho... colors would help alot, but that kinda dog is almost always owned by a woman. Excellent font treatment!
