My entries for you consideration. #31 & #32 a light custom and minimal word mark combining the U and C letter. #33 Also custom typography with a Circle around the c forming the symbol for copyright / originality
Good morning from my side of the world! Iv'e added and outline heart to the logo as you can see in #93 #94 #95... trying to warm it up without ruining it's simplicity. I believe that it is beautiful on its own and spot on with your uploaded brief ...and my thoughts are (if you will allow me )that your interior should be the one that inspires warmth. The logo will be branded on stationary, signage, wrapping paper etc but warmth can only actually come from your store ( like the Fabrique image) Its a cold blocky arrangement of typography on white tiles... but combining it as a whole looks fantastic.
Thanks for coming up with the new designs. I feel that the heart took away from the design itself and the other ones had too many lines. Appreciate your effort!
Hmmm... that would be no issue at all but... that would be the creative flair of the design. Will take a look at it and see if i can come up with something else that is clever and one not connected. Thanks again for the feedback.
And also... and this is just my opinion... people are too often spoon fed and let to think for themselves.... better to make a double take and see it and think...hey... thats clever.... than rather just see it...an pass it :)
Not a problem.... still have some time left in this phase. Any other feedback you may have is welcome... unless you have made you mind up about another design.
No, I just have not been ranking the first 3 logos since the last session ended. I really like #112, but it is hard to read for some people who don't know the name of the café. I have a few people who doesn't know my company name reading Sicre, which was not good. The U makes it look like I. Logo #169 did not have the same uniqueness as #112, as what you mentioned before. Somehow if we can make the U & the C easier to read, this would be a great logo. Would you be able to change something to make the letters more distinguishable, maybe the U or the C could be in a different color. I'm not sure if a different font would make it easier to read. I'll leave it up to your creativity to decide. Thx!
Good morning, that's great, sleep is always good! I like the line in the U which makes the separation of the letter, great idea! I feel Logo #112 the softness of the font gives it more charater in the logo. #179 feels more lines. Could we try a line in logo 112.
like the softness in the font in 112, the additional copper U inside the U on #179 having it touching the outside U or closer to the U so there is less space in between the two Us. thx
looks better! Could we try #112 with the line, just to see how it looks. I really like the font of this logo better. I'm not too crazy about the E on logo 181. Maybe we can try changing the font of the E and make the font lighter and thicker on #181. Not sure how that would look? Thx
#185 looks the best, could we make the lines in this font thicker. 184 cannot differentiate the U and C and 183 as you suspected does not work as well. thx
I have / and need to show you what you request though.... its best you say no to it than me :) In my honest opinion #185 is the best fit for you...and without the inner U letter... branding will be perfect especially if you use hot foil for the copper color and a nice cool grey (pantone) for the rest.
It looks better without the inner U, but I prefer people being able to read my logo correctly rather than incorrectly. We are a bit laid back here compare to the rest of the world. Lol, some people have a hard time pronouncing Sucre eventhough its our second language here. Is it possible to make it letter U and C more easier to read and still maintain the great logo? Possibly a different font? maybe having the inner U without any space in between. I'm not sure. Let me know your thoughts.
Once the letter U and C is separated, it looses the originality. It was worth a try. Maybe for #185 , without the inner U and have a darker shade of black for the U which gradually fades off going into the C? Not sure that would work. Or have #183, with the inner U touching the outer U and gradually fading off rather than cutting it off suddenly. What do you think?
Made the cut on the c bigger... there is no way anybody can get confused now..... it was the simplest act and it got away from me #191... and #192 with the connection of the S and U...
#191 looks better. Let me test it on a few people and see. I have a meeting and running a little late for it. I have to go now. Since we have a time zone difference, I had ask for an extension. I really appreciate your hard work to make this work.
Good morning! I tested out on some people and logo #191 still have people not pronouncing the word properly. I decided to work on #169 instead. Could you change the border to a difference colour. Also, is there anything that can be done to make this more unique. Thx
