Welcome! I have done a lot of work with Keller Williams agents here on Logo Tourney and in my own office. I think my concepts work well, because they are simple, yet bold. Which is what a logo should be. To much detail takes the eye to long to study. Research shows that clean and simple is what sticks in the brain.
I use minimal roof lines and clean, bold, READABLE fonts that work great on signs from a distance.
For your reference: Here are some KW clients who have selected my work just on Logo Tournament alone.
Getting closer. Like the white house in #57 and how Home Selling Team is moved over. Can we mix #57 and #25 a bit more? Maybe a bit more hip home? Maybe add a red line in front of the Home Selling Team. This is harder than we thought. Any other spin you may like to make on it is welcomed as well. Looking for a wow factor. You can visit our website to see if that helps.
Could you elaborate on the "hip" mention? Maybe take a look at some of my portfolio and tell me some you like that we could draw inspiration from. That may help us out.
I think the modern trend is houses with depth, and maybe viewed from an angle.
The straight lines (Century 21) house, for instance, is a bit dated . What I try to do is give you different viewpoints on the house that give it shadow and depth. This is the trending direction of Real Estate logos, and it wont leave you out dated in a couple of years if not sooner.
Hello. By "hip" I guess we mean something new and cool. And by modern we are probably referring more to abstract. Maybe its the pointed roof lines that are not as appealing to us as the rounded designs as in #25. We have looked at your portfolio from above. Your jensellsmemphis is good. The designs where your brain knows the picture is a house but it isn't a traditional looking house are more modern/hip looking.
Unfortunately the time has expired for new entries. The only thing permitted at this point is the tweaking of existing entries. Only the top ranked designer can do that. You are however, allowed to rotate the top ranking to allow different designers to make tweaks during the judging portion.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if I can help further.
I just wanted to let you know that it may be a day or so before we decide the winner. Some of the team members are out of town at a conference for a few days.
If I try and take the file and put it on a dark background it has a white background. More specifically we would like a file where the back is transparent. The .eps file when inserted has some pixels that are askew (on the B in STEINBACH, the biggest gable on the home, in between the two lower gables, the top gables bottom part of the window is supposed to be white). Why are the images not 300 dpi?
My apologies. I sent the "Final" file. Not the "Final Clean" file. (That's how I designate them here in my studio. The right files have been sent. As for the dark background, I generally send an additional set of files to your personal e-mail with some of the colors reversed to work good on a dark background. (i.e. The black hill and wordmark are white, and the windows are white...etc) Trying to force the colors into a dark background is an issue without the additional set. There is no charge, just forward me an email and I will gladly send them your way one the files here are approved.
