Thanks for taking my contest page comments into account. You've got the right idea, in a way, but I'm looking for a night sky that's a little more dynamic with some color mixed in to the sky. Right now what you've got is too similar to the website background we're using at www.starscapemedia.com. In general I'm not that crazy about the text treatment for Starscape Media. Please reference the comments I left on the contest page recently. Thanks for your work!!!

OK. I reworked some of the elements. Is this closer to what you are looking for? Are you perhaps looking for something more like a galaxy image:

http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&um=1&sa=1&q=galaxy&aq=f&oq=&aqi=g10&start=0

Or are you looking for a shooting star / comet in the sky? The border colors as well as the film strip color can easily be changed to your taste - suggestion?. could also make the border a sort of faded burst (similar to your second place pick) if that is what you are looking for. Thank you for the feedback!

I like what you've done with adding the color variation to the sky. That looks really cool. As far as the sky - you're pretty close to what I had envisioned - only I do think adding some more flair to the sky (tiny little comets, etc. would be cool. I don't want a really cosmic look - more of just a dreamy "the sky is the limit" feel. I'm still not a fan of the text at all. Would there be a way to work the text into the black (ground) part of the logo - underneath the hill where the man is sitting? Speaking of the man, I like him, but think it would be cool to have him reaching up toward the sky - since our slogan is "Reach." Text in general should be changed. Scrap the film strip look altogether with your concept. I'm thinking the border around the square should be either that middle red color in the sky or maybe a 3D looking glimmer made from the dark purples. Thanks a ton for your hard work!

OK Great - posted #44 before these last comments. Same suggestion?

Thanks! Yep, same suggestions. Like the comet. Maybe add another smaller wispy comment in there somewhere too.

OK! #46 has everything except a second comet and the man reaching. I'll add that next. I just wanted to check on the type and the border - right direction?

I think go for a totally new direction on the font. No more dots between media. Something really clean and modern. With the border - what about if the logo was essentially borderless - and just kinds of fades out around all the edges. Might be neat to see it in a widescreen HD video-esque format rather than a perfect square. Maybe lesson or eliminate the shadow you added at the top - as it seems to take away from the color variation that I really liked. I see that it adds a bit more 3D dimension to the log though - so maybe include it but just not as much. Your call on whether or not that part is even usable if the image is borderless and just fades out.

Two more revisions for you (#57 #58). Additions overall: Wider type on Starscape, "REACH" slogan, city skyline, scaled up the person, faint leader strip border at bottom. One with a hard edge and one with the fade. What do you think?
