Star-TelegramLogo Design Contest

The star is centered on the Dallas/Ft Worth area. The combined logo of the state and star fit perfectly into a square for use as a favicon, if required. Type treatment is simple, straightforward and modern to reflect the goals of the newspaper. I'm open to suggestions concerning use of 'news' imagery.
