Industry Entertainment Color Preferences Red-Orange (or Orange-Red), Blue and other colors you feel fit. But never put red and green together. Our Ideas & Additional Information SpriteLogic is comprised of two words: Sprite and Logic. That's the two major aspects of a computer game. Sprite (a computer graphics term) is the game character (think about the red bird of Angry Birds). It represents the artistic part of a game. Logic is the computer code (logic) behind the game characters to make make alive. We belive a great game is the harmonic combination of the artistic creativity/beauty and the serious computer technology discipline. We could probably use an orange-red color for the Sprite part and blue color for the Logic part. An exotic animal (a fierce dragon or dinosaurs for example) could be used for the Sprite part and a gear for the Logic part. At the same time we'd like the logo to be modern and simple. So we prefer an abstract shape over exquisite details as far as the shape is concerned. Curvy/smooth lines and interesting fonts are in our mind. We'd like the logo playful but professional at the same time (not childish). Don't be limited by our ideas. Surprise us with your creativities. Please don't use an angry bird in the logo design. I'd like the design to be more serious, modern and simpler than the 4 I got so far (#1~#4).Thanks, 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client I probably should not mention angry birds. My intention was to use that as an example of game sprite. A detailed bird in the logo gives people the impression that the company has something to do with birds. What every animal is used to highlight the sprite part, please be subtle. Like I said in the description I'd like it to be more of an abstract figure than a picture with details. 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client I am still looking for the one that really stands out. I'll monitor and give feedbacks constantly. 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client Thank you all for the brilliant designs. We are impressed and pleasantly surprised. As it is quite obvious now we like the concept of a cute/good looking sprite combined with a gear (we can't think of anything else that convey the logic part better, you may come up with a better one and suprise us). Design #52 also has the company name's initial 'S' subtlely imbedded in the design and we like that a lot. We like the web 2.0 style with vibrant colors, shadings and the 3D looking. We like the cute little dragon, overall color scheme and the font that showed character. Thanks again and let the sparks fly... 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client I have another idea about the LOGIC part of the message. The computer logic are binary logic and the code is ultimately different combinations of 0's and 1's. So I hope using 0's and 1's would work too. Just an idea... 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client I wish the site let me try out different background. They look good on white background. Not sure what they look like on black ground. Ideally I'd like them to look good on black background too. But that is a secondary requirement and it's great if you could put that in you mind when you design and use color. I probably should have mentioned this earlier... 13 years ago SpriteLogic Client I know it's hard to convey the logic part of the theme. Gear is the only thing that I came up with initially. Later on I realized that the computer binary '0' and '1' could be used. But it was probably a bit late in the game. Just did a google image search for "binary technology" and a lot images came up with series of 0's and 1's (as the computer code) and electronic wave forms showing in glowing green or blue out of dark backgrounds. I thought that could be inspirational and would like to share if it not too late... 13 years ago Ivan F LogoTournament Staff Extended - the previous #1 designer was removed and banned for submitting plagiarism. 13 years ago
