I think you've got something going here. I don't like the colors but I think the idea is a start. I'd probably start over but use some concepts you have going here with the S and maybe add some greek mythology for sports or even a silhouette of an athlete or make the athlete do some athletic move inside the logo.
The black and silver is growing on me...I think it says sports but its probably a little too close to the ESPN Font S. That might be why I like it but I certainly don't want to copy them. So how can we move this idea forward?
Can you somehow incorporate a gymnast doing a backhand spring around the S from the 12 o clock position to the 9 O clock position on the circle (very subtly). Then add something of maybe the outline of a football inside the S that is again very subtle...and then possibly add something like the greek gods feathered foot subtly as well...I think that would go a long ways.
Whichever "S" version you figure out, do another version with the "SPIN" Sports Idol Nation as well. I'm going to move this one out to make room for another designer but I like where its going!
I'm thinking outline in white for version 154 and black for version 116 the gymnast from the 12 o clock position to the 9 or 7 o clock position. Do the same with the foot and incorporate the american football somehow.
so you wanna rotate the circle position to 9 or 7 clock and add american football things on #154 using #116 color? for the gymnast, do you have any image gymnast(your own copyright), if i took the image silhouettes from stockart or search engine is not allowed by admin. thx
This one is difficult. I like the S but its missing something. I want to communicate Sports Idol while also using the word play SPIN. How do you accomplish that? Most of these don't say sports enough. The S you are using is synonomous with ESPN which I love but don't want to copy for the logo. So how do we get you to portray Sports Idol while Spinning...
Can you somehow add a gymnast to this logo instead of a baseball bat or maybe keep the bat but find a way to add the gymnast. Also incorporate your logo #116 into this idea where SPIN is spelled out either above or below the logo.
