All good desserts take some time to make ;-)
I came up with an idea of using the SF skyline as a chocolate decoration of a cupcake/part of it. In the frosting you can make out the initials SR for sugar rush. Revisions welcome.

This is gorgeous! Love the skyline, but am wondering what we would do for LA and Chicago (perhaps we could work something out)! We chose the blue/orange combo because it's a bit funky (in a good way!) and the pink/green may be too feminine for some (but don't count it out yet!). Would it be possible to show what it would look like in black/white or grayscale to make sure it could be printed in that environment (ie flyers, etc.).

Thank you so much - we're blown away!

Just had another thought - could we see a version where the blue is deep purple instead? Just wondering if there would be too much blue if it ends up sharing space with the Spark logo. Thanks!

Hi Anna,
We'd love to see this logo with a few slight alterations as we approach our final decision. Is it possible to see it:

1) Without the "SR" in the icing
2) With "Sweet Dreams" instead of the "SR" in the icing
3) An example of how we might incorporate the skyline theme in the cake without being city-specific (we operate programs in San Francisco, LA, and Chicago right now, and will expand to the east coast next year)

Thanks so much!

Hi,
We'd like to see some small changes to the one without the writing in the frosting, which we're leaning towards. Can you make the 'fairy dust' swirls on the icing portion a little more obvious? It may just be a matter of 'bringing them to the front' so the layer is over the icing lines instead of under as well as perhaps moving that one large 'star' over so it's not hidden. They just look a little sparklier in the original version (hope this makes sense!). Also, for the skyline, can you lighten the purple background just a touch and add just a touch of white space between the group of buildings on the left (or some definition)? The purple in this version seems just a bit darker than the "sweet dreams" version and makes the buildings a little hard to see against the sky. It may also just be a matter of the changed building heights.

We'd also like your opinion on something. The "Sweet Dreams" theme for this year's event was hard to work into the contest with so many other parameters. We think having it in the icing is a bit too much for the eye. Do you have a suggestion of where we might be able to include it? Maybe underneath? Would love your thoughts on this! Thank you!!

Just FYI, if you need more revisions, can you ask for them earlier in the day? I am not home during the day, but I can do them when I get home at night. Can't really get to them in the morning or first half of the day.

Thanks.

Thanks for the revisions and sorry about the late timing. There have been a couple different people managing this process because of travel, schedules, etc. I kind of like the original skyline, esp. for SF. What kind of arrangements would we need to make to get/use the general skyline for other cities?

Hi,

As per LT rules, any arrangements for additional work have to be done after the contest is awarded.

Thanks.

Thanks - just wanted to make sure you were open to that if necessary. We'll be requesting the AI and EPS files (as well as all the versions we're entitled to via the contest), so as long as the layers are preserved we should be fine. Thanks!

You're going to kill me, but this is the last request. Now that you've returned the original skyline, can you make the background back to the slightly darker purple - it looked more dramatic. I realize now that it was the shape of the plain skyline that was covering up more of the lighter shade before, making the whole thing appear darker. Last change, I promise!
