I have a few suggestions: Colors: I like more masculine colors- no pink. White, black, blue, green, red, gold, silver. Font: I like all caps or small caps. With respect to the scale design, please reference www.socialsecuritydisabilitylaw.net - it is the best logo I have seen so far to incorporate scales and a person. Thanks! 15 years ago davoid Logo Designer OK the pink is really a bright red but have the transparency turned on some causing the blue to bleed and change it to that magenta color, So kill transparency do all caps, and tweak the scales some. And thank you for the feedback!!! 15 years ago davoid Logo Designer I made the refinements to the logo per your comments in #29 When I went to all CAPS on 29 I thought the logo (icon part) looked some what too small in scale so #30 is a larger scale logo of 29.Thanks again and as always feedback is welcome! 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client It is so hard to tweak some else's design so I will do my best to give you better direction:Colors/Font: They are better. Keep the black background. Change the firm name to a pearlized white and try large and small caps. The scales are good in blue. Try the center in only a red outline. Design: I would like the design lines to be less harsh and less masculine. With respect to the people, they are too separate. Even though that is what happens in family law, that will not give anyone any comfort if they are looking for someone to help them. My advice is to incorporate one big person and one small person in an abstract way in the center somehow - together. Think more of an ornate, decorative scale than one with pointed lines. I like a more curved scale design. Thanks for your hard work! 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client Design: I do not like the family together. Family law = breakup so it does not seem authentic. With respect to more direction, please refer to www.socialsecuritydisabilitylaw.net. It is a nice, clean design with one person and scales.Thank you! 15 years ago davoid Logo Designer Hi AlexAm I getting closer to the mark? Where's my misses! Hope I'm close at least... 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client I think your scale is nice but just does not work for me and what I am looking for. The curviness makes it appear more feminine. I would like the scales to be somewhat ornate or different but not feminine. In terms of design, I am favoring the emblem designs with the "sun will rise again" concept. I would love to see what you can come up with. I do not wish to see any slogans as we can add them later. I have also yet to see any designs with just the name - look at the SZE law firm logo on this contest site for more guidance. I liked the green, black and white effect of that logo. Thanks! 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client On entry #84, let's get rid of the state entirely and leave out the green. Keep the sun in the background. Put Southern California in a serrif type all caps, masculine font just beneath the sun and put Family Law Group underneath it on equal spacing. I would like to essentially see what it looks like when the page is cut in half - sun rise on top. Let's see what that looks like. 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client Can you try something similar to my prior comment? The pyramids are cool but won't work for me as a law firm logo... 15 years ago davoid Logo Designer OK #89 is ready for review you didn't say to leave the reflection of the sun in or not. If you know of any other fonts to try then let me know or point me to a web site or image and I'll try to match the font. Thanks for the feedback you don't know how rare that is here! 15 years ago davoid Logo Designer #96 is somewhat the same as #89 but lower font is different and gold texture instead of white oh moved the lower font up closer to S.Cal 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client It looks better! I would like the name to be closer together in terms of the top and bottom. Perhaps you can experiment with colors instead of a literal sun? Just a thought. I like the division between the color and black background. Nicely done. 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client Thanks for trying so hard. I did not like the compressed look of the last set of logos. I like the font a little more spread out- think of it as the bottom half of the page. 15 years ago alexmcderm1 Client I would love to work with you, since you try so hard and I appreciate it. If you go to the LEGAL portfolio, I like the PBW, DPM, SZE and PRISM logos. How about trying just some fancy font with a fountain pen - think along the design lines of PBW. For DPM, I like it but SC has zero meaning for me, so let's not use SC - I like the simplicity of that design. SZE - I like the colors a lot...again no SC please. And with prism, it is unique and colorful but in a cool way- I am fine with looking at prism concepts even though my firm name does not have prism in it. It is a cool design concept. Does that help? 15 years ago
