We really like #75... the sense of movement in , and how the two shapes create the upward flowing S and also suggest a yin-yang and a street, all at once. We would love to see some different treatments of this:
-- First, we would like to see some different color treatments using the color palette in the brief. Perhaps Orange and Blue? Others as well.
-- Second, would like to see some different font treatments and placements. Perhaps try putting the icon/symbol above the name? Take away the line? For fonts, what about having the South and Street echoing the colors?
-- Finally we would love to see a version which has the reflective effect (like the shadow that appears below the ball in our parent companies logo.

Hi SouthStreet.
Thank you for your positive feedback. I was surprised to know that you can interpret the logo so well without my explanation.
The symbol actually has multiple meaning : flowing S, ying-yang(balance), path (street). The symbol is actually form by 2 "hands" that simply presents the idea of "helping" and "working" :-)

Here's the variations :
#126 : orange & blue combo
#127 : orange & lighter blue combo
#128 : orange & green combo

#129 : tilt (oval) version
#130 : serif font treatment

We can explore further in terms of colors or typeface (serif or sans serif) once you're fine with the layout.
Thanks!

You are welcome! Love the helping and working (and collaboration) symbolism too.

I definitely prefer the upright version (just more energy), and probably to the left like in your original #75. Just feels more balanced.

In terms of color, I think it is either #126 or the original #75. Would love to see a text (especially for #126 colors) that used the original layout but maybe the text in the Blue or Orange as well as darker.
Also, Strategy Group probably needs a little more emphasis than the examples of #126 - #128. Probably need to see a few variations to know which works best.

P.S. I am secretly delighted that so many great designs came from Indonesia. I lived in Yogya for 2 years, teaching at Universitas Gadjah Mada. Terima Kasih!

Hi. Thanks for your above comment and your compliment :))
Wow.. surprised to know you lived in Yogya & teach there before. UGM is 1 of the wellknown uni across Indonesia. I haven't been to yogja yet *blush*.. definately would love to visit someday...

back to business...

#231 : smaller S symbol on top of SouthStreet... I divide SouthStreet & Strategy Group with a thin line.
#232 #233 : symbol on the left with new typo treatment. Blue+Green combo, Blue+Orange combo (bolder font for SouthStreet)
#234 : regular font like #126

Let me know if you wanna see any additional changes. Im happy to assist you. Thanks!

Hey there. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

We lare still debating the colors and fonts. Can you try thinner fonts with 232 and 233 (same color treatment but perhaps a font more like #75? For the blue green, is that essentially 234? I think our parent company CMB (at cmbinfo.com) uses Tribeca fonts -- is that one off these? Any other variations to recommend?

I am not as good at the font part, but we would love to see some variations.

Hi there...
I think the font that used in your parent company isn't Tribeca, not sure what is the font name tough. It looks like TWCents to me... but it's not :))
I have submitted few variation of font style for you to consider.

#236 : TrebuchetMS
#237 : CenturyGothic
#238 : Calibri

Looking forward to hear from you again. Thanks
