Color Preferences
This will be an emblem, much like you see on a car. Much like Tesla or Ferrari, BMW or Porsche. If this has colors, they should be very simple such as the BMW white and blue which are primarily just accent colors. I'm not suggesting white and blue for our colors, just an example of simplicity. I would lean towards the colors black, gray, blue, green, white... But not all together. Just an example of some that I think would be acceptable.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
One reason we are sending this to contest, is to help nail down a firm concept. As of right now we're looking for something clever and modern that represents a solar powered boat company. To describe one logo we were considering: A script writing where the tail of the S in solar craft Is pulled back through the S and then either underlines the rest of the word, or writes it out itself.

It is also reporting to remember the full name of the company is solar craft boat works. The idea is that "solar craft" will be the primary logo and then "boatworks" will be the accent perhaps in box style lettering.

Look at the picture I drew of and electric Gisselle, I took this concept from something I saw online. It would be cool if we could figure out how to do this with a sea horse or something else…

I am really happy with all the entries thus far. Huge talent pool. Someone in the office suggested that we try perhaps a variation with an electric eel… Not sure where that's going to go but at least it promotes a natural form of electricity, and there are a few other glowing fish in the ocean, if some of you would like to venture a couple of tries it could be fruitful. I will also say I'm very happy with the entries and with just a little work a couple of these could work out just fine we are making some decisions internally and I will continue to give regular updates.

I really appreciate all the entries. As we all know this is the time when we figure out who the top artists are so we can continue working. Please don't be offended if we put you in the uninteresting category, the fact is this is been a tough decision everyone is hugely talented. This is the toughest contest so far. You can definitely see how we are trending a lot of you have made interesting adaptations to the gazelle, and we have decided that we are going to move towards a sea creature of some sort.
