Hi, your design is looking very good, the linked people work very well. There Are a couple of things I'd like to try if possible. Firstly changing the proportions between the "people" device and the text, making the text bigger in proportion to the people. Also I wonder if it's possible to make the people look a little more distinctive. It's possible to miss the fact that they are people. When you see it, it looks great! Not sure how to do this, but it'd be good to make it easier to see they are people. Also the company has a corporate font used for its main name - Hornbill - www.hornbill.com You can see the font there used for Hornbill which I'd like to try for social workforce. I like the way that the different weights of font work where you have put "socialworkforce".

I hope that all makes!
Thanks

Hi Graham, here's the couple revisions on the font, circle people and layout.

About the people on the symbol, it's a circle of people collaborating, working together with the negative space in a globe shape to convey the idea of "geographies"

#53 : original symbol
#54 : people in more distinctive look
#56 : split the social workforce into two lines.

Thanks.

Thanks for the updates. I like the changes to make the people more distinguishable - thanks. I don't think the splitting across two lines works that well as one word is too spaced out and the other too squashed (#56)!

I am trying to find the exact corporate font we have to use for the social workforce name. But I would like to try increasing the scale of the wording as against the logo device. Also the kerning will need to be a little greater to make the text look a little more spread out. I'll come back with the font I'd like to try.

Cheers

Hi, further to my last post, the corporate font we use is based on ‘Square 721 extended’. It then has a thickness stroke on it that gives it the boldness it has. To see the kerning look at the way it is used in the "Hornbill" logo on www.hornbill.com. We (Hornbill) are launching a new product and want to keep the same font, color and kerning as the current Hornbill logo if possible.

it doesn't need to be an exact match now, but we'll want to get there with the winning entry.

What you have got in #54 is very close and I like the lighter and bolder font weight for the two words. That works well for me.

Thanks

Hi Graham. Thank you for your interest towards my logo design.

Yes, the font that I'm using is "Square 721 extended". Please see entry #72 for the similar kerning like in hornbill.com

Let me know if you want to see any additional adjustments.

Thanks.

Hi, it looks likely that we will pick you for our winning design. We like entry #72

Is it possible to try a couple of things please? I'd like to slightly adjust the proportions making the graphic device a bit smaller and the font a bit bigger.

Also for the final log, I'd like a color one and a black and white (or grayscale) one. And for both of those, copies both with and without the "building a collaborative workforce" strapline.

Is that going to be ok?

Thanks
Graham

Thanks Rob, those are great. We will just need a B&W version of the main one with the tagline and we're done!
