Logo Designer
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank a variety of designs to get a variety of entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is Private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Leave private feedback by clicking on a design. Feedback will be made public upon contest completion
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you will see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested".
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ After your contest closes it will enter Judging phase. You can re-rank designs in Judging.
~~ While in Judging, the designer ranked in first place can submit revisions

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

#2 is a great start!

- It's fun, it's fresh, and the colors are bold. Nice work. :)

The logo is making us hungry already. ;)

We love the illustration work in #3 and #4 - The design is fun and helps to promote our food offerings. The name of our company is VERY SIMPLE TO READ. :) :)

*** We have increased the prize amount as of today ***

After an intense brainstorming session, we would also like to see renderings of illustrations using a "shack" (house) design where burgers, shakes and fries are coming out of the chimney.

The design should also incorporate ***music themes*** - Jazz, Blues, or Rock n' Roll. to reflect the music venues that will appear where the SliderShak will be located.

Thank you for all of the hard work so far. :)

#8 is currently the leader, because it fits what we had requested so well, but we also really like #5 and #3.

#8 shows burgers fries and shakes coming out of a chimney of a shack, exactly as we had asked to see.

We would like to see variations of the #8 design with bolder colors and contemporary fonts.

We really like the color contrast in #5 as well as the "retro" look.

#3 shows true artistic craftsmanship - Outstanding effort. :)

Of course, we would also like to see NEW IDEAS as well.

Thank you to everyone. :)

Update: July 6, 2011

It's great to see additional participation from new designers in the tournament. We are always impressed with the level of creativity and professionalism with the LogoTournament designer community. :)

Today, after seeing a wider selection of design ideas, we are requesting the following changes:

1) REMOVE the "chef" cartoon character completely from all of the logo designs. We will not be using a cartoon character for the logo.

2) Put a silhouette of a city as the background to the logo design.

3) Use a font style that looks like wooden planks for the word "SliderShak" - like someone nailed pieces of wood to make the name.

4) As previously requested, we would like to see our products coming out of the shack-house chimney (fries, shakes, slider-burgers), piling up around the word "SliderShak". Make sure that music is represented (e.g. musical notes), as the SliderShak will be located with live music being played.

We look forward to seeing new updates, and will be providing comments for the individual designs.

Thanks again.

We've reviewed the latest designs and once again, are very grateful for all of the hard work.

Overall, we feel that we need to move away from brown colors.

Additionally, the comments from our team are that the new logo needs to be very original and creative - The winning entry must stand out from the crowd with originality and artistic creativity.

Bold, edgy, "rock 'n roll", creative, inspired... - Don't be afraid to take risks.

Thank you. :)

Our contest got off to a very slow start, with a big rush at the end with some very creative ideas.

Once again, we are very thankful for all of the efforts by designers to provide us with your concepts and designs.

Now comes the very hard part... judging the final winner...!

Thanks again to everyone for all of your hard work and brilliant creativity. :)
