Even though the end product can be turned into a map the primary service is the acquisition of imagery than can be transformed into useable data such as 3d models, measurable orthomaps.
Stay away from map icons as they won't be used.
If you want to try design a drone into it think very abstract.
The imagery is created by a process called photogrammetry. Maybe look into that term and think about how to visualise that. We take multiple photos and triangulate data points.
