Skating Club of Van NuysLogo Design Contest

Here are my ideas for your logo. I made the fonts thick so it can easily be embroidered on jackets etc. as well as using an image that was thick in shape so it too can easily be embroidered. I also provided different color backgrounds so you can see what it would look like. Please fill free to provide feedback, thank you!

Hi Thanks so much for the submissions.
Like the black the best. We would like to put a little more emphasis on the Van Nuys as that is the home club name and we would also like to "bling" it up a little more.... Like the stars on the skate idea - it's a nice metaphor :) Do you want to play with the angle of the skate and the curvature and amount of ice?

I think so - We have to meet as a group to make all ranking decisions but this is looking good :)

We really like #20. Can we play with the font size so that we get a little more size on the Van Nuys portion - Not to overwhelming but just a bit bigger?

Could you switch it up and put the Van Nuys underneath?

Which logo are you referring to? Are you wanting to see (Van Nuys) under (of)? I'm sorry I'm not sure what your asking me to do? :) Once I hear back from you I will upload it asap, thanks so much!

Hi -
Here is our problem.... we have number #37 that we really like the look that the font "Skating Club" is in but we want to bring up the type size of the Van Nuys to more of that in #47

Is there a way to marry the two? and keep the bling?

Sorry we are such pains in the butts :)

Can I ask you to tell me what the font size is on the Van Nuys of #37 and #50
It's hard to judge what these are going to actually look like on the jackets

In #37 the font size is (24.45) and in #50 it is (36.49)
