Here you go some scketches based on your brief where you can ask for any changes or make any suggestions. I think that the lioness transmits a strenght feeling that comes from her peaceful and serene look. The semi circles reinforce the protection idea from her look.
Kind regards,

Claudia

Hi Claudia,

In reference to #20

We love the lioness jumping and where it is positioned (over our names). It has action and looks sleek. Feel free to experiment with her position to see what looks best. The lion jumping through the target definitely communicates the message we want to give, but can you make it more subtle? The target might look good if it were a gun metal effect (blackish grey look) but please make it more like a shadow effect. We want the lioness to be more prominent (please make her pop).

We prefer our primary colors to be black (greyscaled) and gold, with accents of sage green...which is a lighter green than what is on your submission entry. We'd prefer accent of a sage green (we have uploaded the color of sage green in our brief). Maybe this sage green can be implemented somewhere, but if you cannot get it to work, then that's ok

Can Silva start with gold and Gonsalves end with the black (greyscaled) effect?

Thank you for submissions!

Hello and thank you very much for your feedback. here you go 3 options for the target and lioness position; I've also changed the text as per your comment. If there's anything else you'd like to see, I'm at your entire service till the end of your contest (I need to run some errands today cause I'll be on vacations by the end of this week but I'll check once I'm back :-)
Wish you a great day,

Claudia

Claudia:

We really like the changes you made. Entry #35 is really getting close to what we want. We like the change in placement of the lioness, as now she is running right through the target, it looks very good and sends the message that we are direct. With regard to the font, generally its overall look is what we want. We would like to see the characters spaced slightly closer together. We like the small caps for what would be lower case letters. Can you play with the "Inc" - and show it as the "Gonsalves" dark grey or even darker? Can you also fade the line between our names and the tag line on the ends?

Last thing, without changing the overall logo, can you give it a glossy look? Like light hitting it?

We're pleased with what you have produced so far.

Hello and thank you very much for your continuous feedback. I'm submiting as you've requested with same typefont all caps (Trajan pro) cause this font is based in roman typefonts and there was only capitals then :-( Also posting in Times New Roman, similar and with small caps for you to check that version too. I've added some gloss/light to the text and the lioness but if your idea was different just paste a link here about the light effect you want me to try and I'll check with no problems.
Wish you a great evening,

Claudia

Hi Claudia,

The gloss effect on the lioness is great! We actually don't want any lighting effect on SilvaGonsalves, Inc. So, if we can eliminate that line across it, that would be good.

In regards to the lighting on the lion, we feel that that since the light is coming from the front of her face, then the grayish shading should only be around the lioness' hind legs. Can you change that up? And, we want to see if you can send us a revision with a shadow effect underneath the lion, and one without a shadow effect. We think since there's a light on her, then there should also be some type of shadow.

We do like the line between our names and the tagline, the sage green choice is very good, that's the hint of color that works for us.

Overall, great work:)

Claudia,

Can you change the lioness to just be an abstract of her body running? We'd like to see an outline of this body shape. We want to have a more sophisticated and subtle look to the logo as our industry is legal and accounting services, so we would like to see a modern and quiet image. We love the body position of your lion, but we'd like to see her outlined/abstract.

Thanks.

Hi! here you go a very discrete and subtle lioness head, linked to the name and using the target/coin in the middle of the O to theme the business activity.
If we don't speak sooner,

Great concept, we appreciate your work so far. The abstract of the head doesn't quite give enough action or emotion to us. Also, the ear is too long and pointy, it reminds us of a dog or pig ear a little bit. We are moving towards a full body abstract, the target on the O in Gonsalves is a cool effect. The images that we have liked the most have been subtle lion images, but almost full body and we want to get the lioness figure to look confident and graceful, calculating, not mean looking but not kitten like. We prefer no open mouths, or teeth, or smiling mouths.

Thank you for working with our requests and your overall participation in our contest! We look forward to any modifications you can make.

I've entered your contest cause it was inside my work timeline, before the extension; I'll go on holidays tomorrow and take my laptop :-)
