I've planned to add silicon valley map into design, I've tried googling and found a lot map and I can't find the correct one. Could you please provide me which the correct one?
Hello, thanks for the rank,, actually you could just end the contest and pick me as the winner so I'm allowed to contact you directly to your email (your email will shown after the contest complete). I think through email we can finalizing the logo with much faster and easier. and also, you can preview the logo in large size. Just a thought.
No worries, although if I've been picked as the winner, I'm still ready to provide you revisions as much as you needed until it's perfect. You can count on me! :)
I do like the talent you are showing at this point I'm really not very pleased with any of the designs. I keep debating whether to start the contest again to try and get fresh ideas. I feel like there may be potential which is why I have not done it yet, but after the updates posted last night (I rejected them all) I'm pretty discouraged. This is my 3rd logo contest. The first two, by this point I was really happy with the designs. I'm sad I'm not happy yet with what has been submitted.
Hi Peter, thanks for your appreciate I also have an idea with computer geek eyeglass :) but I don't have time to start working for now, maybe I will start working in next 4 hours.
Also, we still want to not have things that look like computer keys. We do cover more than notebook computers so if there is way to incorporate mobile (tablet? phone?) there might be some possibilities there.
Hi Peter, please to comment on this page. If you comment on the public comment, other designer can copied the concept. Allright I will revise the design, please wait.
Hi suke #120 and #121 are popular among my audience. could you try and make the lettering a little more interesting and also show it own a light background. thanks
Suki, in #120/#121 can you try to make non pixalated fonts? I'm getting feedback saying this are old style and newer sites use highler quality smooth ones. I also assume there was no nice way to work in the "#"? I'm not saying add it, but if there were that would be nice.
We are liking #145 a lot but we don't like the hash tag. If you can think of any other better way to include, please try or remove it.
We plan to use it in it's square from but also in the banner of our web site which means that we would want it to be wider and less tall. could you show us what it might look like if you put the words to the right side of the four blocks.
If starting to feel like #145 (or a close variant). Will be the one we will pick. We've always just gotten one logo before at the end in photoshop with three sized jpegs. If we went with something like #145, I think we would actually need 4 base logos with it. black and white backgrounds, and words to the right and words on the bottom. Is that something you would provide as part of the package or is that extra. It's not clear from the FAQ how that works.
Sure! I will provide your request as a part of the package. You don't need to pay extra for it :) by the way you will pick #145 or #153 (without hashtag) as a winner?
Hi Suke, We like #167. We especially like how you have made the word CODE and the colors match. we also like the gradient in the lettering. Unfortunately, we think that no one will understand the hash (#) tag and it will look like clutter. Keep thinking about the hash tag (and of course making such nice improvements). -Peter
Thanks for your appreciate, Peter. Let me think about the hashtag, It seems difficult to find a way use the hashtag to keep the design balance, but I will try hard :)
OK. I do not want to get between you and your bath or breakfast. the contest has 3 more hours. I know it is Sunday and I wish I could extend the contest again but I think I am out of extensions. The good news is, as my wife says, when I see something I really like, I don't look for a second option. I'm just waiting for that perfect logo.
We want to go with fundamentally your #153 and #146 Both should have the gradients in the letters like your #167
We do like the idea of the "hat" with #178 but we think it would be better if it were a graduation hat rather than some other kind of hat. If you have not thought of any other ideas for the hash tag, could you try and integrate a graduation hat (google image search below for what I mean).
I'm assuming you are going to figure this out and am currently not corresponding with anyone but you. I appreciate you perseverance through this process.
Maybe smaller (does not logo much taller) with slightly bigger hash and more to left. similar to other one in proportions. also with some kind of transition like other.
Getting better but still not quite right. Is it possible to bring some of the square through so it does not chop it off? Maybe emphasize the hash more and the hat less? maybe make the hat lean more over so the hash can be a little taller? bring the tassle in closer so it doesn't add so much width to the logo? We still want the logo to be all about svcc, the hash sign and cap are just extra. The Cap is really just to give us a nice place to put the hash, not the other way around.
It looks like everything got smaller. The hash is really not visible. Notice how on #178 the hat is small and the hash is big. I also don't want to increase the height of the logo. It is already tall. So, more lean to the left and see if you can figure out how to make it blend in with the lettering somehow. Keep thinking about making the hash similar in size to how it is in #178. Smaller than that and it is too small to know what it is. It also needs to be clear it is to the left of SVCC, not on top of it. Hope this helps.
