Hi I've created an icon representing an 's' made of a "short" pice of film strip, to play on the name. The arrow and house tie in the RE theme and speed (fast & forward).
I tried the lime green to do something out of the ordinary, the blue is the safer bet. Color can be tweaked easily as I've gone for simple shapes which can be given a more 2.0 treatment or not. I prefer the flat look with the reflection on the film strip being enough to give it depth without being overly complicated.
Fine tuning - I have revamped the type - the two words are the same weight. New treatment for the icon - some gradients added to give it a bit more "life" and appeal. The tag line is in a new font and in upper case - the boxy letter shapes tie in nicely with the holes in the film strip.
Refined text - strokes on 'short' now more cohesive to the whole design formula. Using a grey in the 'short' makes this design work on white and black backgrounds equally, without requiring two versions. New treatment for tag line. Now the name is the hero, the tag line is nicely balanced - easy to read.
