Online web application capable of producing professional videos based from pictures. The shortreel brand needs to be fit to reflect many vertical markets, the first being RE (Real Estate): we can probably play with this.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Hello guys, I wanted to take some time to thank u for all your splendid work and to inform u that we'ha added some new specs to our brief. WE've seen a lot thus far on the use of lettering associated with iconography. To this end we would like to take the opportunity to invite u to look at things from a total opposite perspecive. While continuing development of your unique and your original ideas, please consider the updates on the brief to come out with something conceptually different than what we're looking at right now.
Hello everyone, I wanted to let u all know that the logo we are looking for in this contest is, of course, one. I say this just in case there was some confusion among some of you. I'd also like to point out that we'll host additional contests for logo adaptations for the various markets. It's however important that at this point we see something that will eventually accomodate our need to adapt the logo to multiple market segment: for ex. Real Estate & Photograpy.
Thanks a million and look forward to mor input from all of u.
Hello everyone, do you think we could see an icon representing a razor blade? YOu guys have all used the forward, play, film icons but none of us has undergone trying the blade. The blade is a vintage instrument greatly representing our business. SInce its proximity with the action tool (typical of film) I wouldnt mind seeing those appearing aas well. Maybe some of you could actually come up with a blade/action icon ;-)
mmm.... thank u Kooldog, but I'm afradi I dont have one. there isnt any older version of shortreel, unfortunately ;-) you guys will have to get one right out of your hat ;-)
Taking this to a new perspective: does anyone see the Parental Advisory box as a possibility to incapsulate the shortreel lettering in? I was looking at #92 and it prompted the idea. We should also try working with colors more, I thing. We've seen too much grayscaling and blue. Movies (16:9 ratios particualrly) use green a lot too, particularly for intros. COnsider that we produce high definition 16:9 movies right from your pictures. So any reference to all that comprises movie making is welcomed. Particularly now that we've seen pretty much variations of a lot of the same concept. I would like to see something radically different.
Open your mind to immagination ;-) BTW, I couldnt be thankfull enought for what you've already done so far, regardless ;-)
Hello everyone, We have decided to extend our contest to give all new designer a change to submit their fine works as well. We noticed how some of the latest entries have been so successful with their proposal. Some if them were totally new and stood out a lot. To this end we would like to continue for another 4 days. We believe that there still is lots to add to the fine work you all have already done.
Dear designers, I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the terrific job each and everyone has done to get to the end of our contest. We are very pleased with the results we've achieved and wish to publicly address all of those who has given contribution to this great contest. At this point in time we are taking some time to make our final decision, even though we know it's not going to be that easy. ;-)
I also would like to thank the people of logotournament.com and tell them what great of an instrument they have created. For once we find a place where merit and hard work are the determinant factors! Money is really a corollary argument. With this contest we have proved to ourselves and others that even top designers do like to take part in good concept ideas, despite money! To you I really want to say thank you!!!
Steve - you can thank the designers and show your appreciation by ranking more than 2 designs. Designers get "points" for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. as many as you want to rank. That's what the medals and ribbons next to each designer's avatar represent.
If you really want to say "thank you" rank all the designs that helped you arrive at your final decision.
Hello everyone, we have selected our winner, hence our top 3 designers. thanks to you guys for making this happen. I also wish to thank everyone else who's put a lot of work and energy in this contest: I am greatful to you guys! We will have new contests soon where you'll have other chances to prove yourself again. Please forgive me for not having been careful enough to select more entries as Briscoe suggested: I just didnt know that by doing so I would have helped :-( sorry about that!
I also would like to thank the guys at logotournament for this terrifi tool they've created. May you be blessed to the highest extent!
