Thank you for the early submissions! After looking at the logos submitted to this point (the first 11), here is some more feedback:

- We feel seriffed fonts portray better our more academic feel (we are part of Utah State University) -
- While we are global, we feel globes are a bit cliché. Avoid using them.
- We are not inclined to choose an animated look (animations within the text) - Nice, clean, classy-looking text with an icon to the side or top is best. We're looking for an abstract, but simple, icon.
- Of the two (typography and icon) typography is most important. The word "Shingo" should call the most attention as it is the most recognizable part of our organization.
- For reference, look at FranklinCovey's logo, Zions Bank (but with an icon), typography of Harvard University

Great looking submissions today, folks! It's fun to start getting clearer and clearer on what is really communicating the brand. For everyone, it's important that the logo, in its initial state, be on a light (white) background.

Hey folks. Just a head's up that as we come into the weekend, our availability will decrease as we are out of the office. I will check the tournament this weekend; just not as frequent as I do while I am in the office.
