#279 #278 #277I like the strong colors, and the modern style, the iconc shapes.
Not so fond of the use of letters in the logo symbol
Like the fact that there is an underlying idea of
#277A bit to cute.
I have done some concept sketches and thinking regarding using letters as a comment to Hestia Designs suggestion - but I have received no update or any responses to my comments or messages since the logo was posted almost a week ago (and the contest time also run out before I extended) - so I would say that his/her chance is lost.
As I wrote in the brief, I was looking for one logo - graphical symbol - to fit both the English "Shifters" and the Swedish translation "Omskiftare". I thought that the only way to do this was to avoid letters in the logo symbol.
As you show - there are other ways to unify the look and feel. Normally I would not suggest this due to brand recogniztion - but when the name is "Shifters" I think it actually might add to the brand!
Look here (and wait for a few seconds to let the animation start).
http://www.shifters.se/Shifters.se/hestia.htmlImagine for example on the web-page when changing language - clicking on Swedish at the upper right corner - and then the logo is Shifted into Shifters and the logo symbol is transformed.
This would mean that the logo needs to be designed to make two parts that can be moved separately and then jet fit perfectly into two different shapes.
This would be an unique design!
It this something that you feel you would like to explore further?
