What We Do
Our company provides a secure and confidential email service that allows users to send emails and attachments directly from sender to receiver without ever being on a server.

Color Preferences
The colors we envision are on the darker side of the spectrum. Colors that convey a sense of security, privacy, secrecy or means of confidential communication. We have thought of black and purple, but are not set on it. In any case, the colors should appeal to a large audience and convey a sense of excitement, security, and trust.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
Previous versions of our logo incorporated a lightening bolt as a design element since it is kind of reflective of our technology, but that is not a requirement. There was a logo made very fast that illustrates the transferability and security of our product at www.shazzlemail.com but this is just one idea and does not reflect a specific direction we want to go... it's just an idea!

Ideally, our logo will emphasize the name Shazzle as a company but can be changed for each one of our products. So, we would have the main "Shazzle" image with an area of the logo devoted to Mail--our secure and confidential email service. But, the main graphic would also work for another component of our product called "Shazzle Share", an instant messaging client. We want brand uniformity but a logo that can also be tailored to be product specific.

Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Hey everyone, so far we've like all the designs you've submitted! They are vibrant and have our name clearly stated. Many of them also incorporate references to how our messages are sent: directly from one person to another, without ever being on a server. Try to keep this idea in mind.

Also, feel free to move away from the padlock theme that has evolved. We really want to encourage as much variety as possible so that we have a lot to choose from. Of course, if you think you can do padlocks in a totally unique way (as some of you have), please share it with us. Sometimes we refer to our service as being "hand delivered," meaning it is transferred directly from sender to receiver without ever being on a server. Maybe there could be a character that makes this possible?

I WILL be updating the comments section frequently so that I can give you feedback and help your odds of winning $375! We're excited about everything that has come and look forward to see what else comes up.

Cheers,

Anthony
