Shaping2100Logo Design Contest

Fyi: I know the tagline is long. We may look into shortening it in the future. For now, we'll have to go with this.

The logos so far are OK. Nothing is really standing out just YET. I've used this site before and therefore know that there are great talented designers here. I am looking for a very unique symbol but stil simple. Something that I haven't seen before on other logos or on the internet. The symbol can be the one to the left or it can be in the font text itself. Something that really communicates the following:
1 - Professional
2 - Innovative (creative, modern, fresh, bright, optimistic)
3 - Slightly futuristic (year 2100, could be slightly robotic, technology, 3D printing, intellectual prosperity, etc.)

I like the font choices that are non-caps, sans serif, and also slightly futuristic.
p.s. I want to convey a bright future so I do like how some used the black/gray along with some bright colors as well. I like the blue on #18 and #3 but I would consider a bright color palette to match so I can use that color palette throughout my website as well. I like the gray on #5.

Thanks for all of the entries! This is getting exciting to see what you can come up with. I'm still looking for that original and very unique qualifier that encapsulates what I want to communicate (see my description ofinnovative). So far #59 is the closest. I like the font in #5. It is slightly futuristic but still professional.

A comment to the top 5, congratulations! I found your logos to stand out from the rest a lot more! Also, some interesting ideas that I never thought of.

I have to say that I have had a very good experience using this site before, although my friends have not. I reallllllly am looking for a symbol or something from the logo that reallllly stands out and just rocks it! It can be subtle with the rest of the logo being professional. I like how some of you did that where part of it was gray and then the "wow" part was in bright colors.

I do like the font when it is slightly futuristic, although professional. Pretend that I have to show this logo on a business card to CEOs, United Nations and leaders on a national level (i.e. read: professional) but at the same time I want to communicate that we are bringing fresh ideas, perspectives, a bright future, different ways of solving the world's hardest problems like energy, climate change, poverty, women's advancement, technology, education, business, etc.

What information do you need from me to wow me? Please post.

*** Please be advised that what you see on your pc monitor / laptop display doesn't always match with the printed result
*** Also gradients, reflections, transparencies, shining effects looks great on screen but when you print them your logo will may end up looking dull and sometimes muddy

Below are examples of gradient & drop shadow problems in printing. To avoid possible issues when printed is recommended to have a logo in *plain / solid colors* - no gradients, no shadow effects!

Thanks, these logos are MUCH better. I just came across this photo and I really loooved it and thought it fit so well with what I want for my logo. I wonder if you would be able to create something along these lines?? As an option for me to choose from. Thanks!!
