SecureLinkLogo Design Contest

Thank you everyone for your entries!

A couple of things that I'd like to avoid:

-locks / padlocks / keyholes
-fat fonts (medium and thin thickness fonts are OK, just not the balloon ones)
-shadows

Also, prefer to just have "SecureLink" in the logo, not remote support networks. We may ask for a design of the logo that has a design to add that tagline in, but please don't include in your primary entries.

Thank you to everyone submitting entries. There are many excellent candidates, including some that I'm marking as not interested, as they do not match what we're going for.

I like the clean design of 28 & 30 and the shield concept of 14 & 15.

I would like to see a shield concept that incorporated both the network icon (the dot and arched waves) and a fingerprint. The audit & reporting capabilities of our product represent the fingerprint. Not sure if this would look good or be too much.

The font in #4 is a good example of one I like, it's original but legible and about the right weight. Prefer "Secure" in Orange and "Link" in blue. No underlines on "Link" please.

Hi designers! Please remember that your entries must be significantly different than designs already submitted. You should feel free to work with obvious concepts, but be careful not to tread too close to unique concepts that are already submitted and belong to others.

The shield concept continues to be my favorite, but I need the icon for the shield to be very simple, so it will represent well on a very small logo (on a golf ball, for example). I'm currently ranking #14 first, but I like the feel of #28 and #30.

We are open to other concepts, but thus far, the shield is my favorite. Is anyone (Glendon, Grafixsphere, Graysource?) up for designing a shield icon that represents a network and a fingerprint?

Thanks, I'll keep ranking and commenting. Not sure if there's any way for the designers to speak to me or provide me with their thoughts, but it's certainly welcome if you can.

Hello everyone & thanks for all of your efforts. I am going to remove a large quantity of entries from the rankings tomorrow, so that I can review my favorites (maybe 10) with my team. PLEASE NOTE: At the end of the contest, I will be pulling many entries out of the "not interested" pile and giving them a ranking. It is my understanding that the designers will get some form of credit for being ranked and I want to give credit to reward the efforts of the designers that did a great job on a logo that just wasn't right for us. Thanks.

As promised, I have removed the majority of the entries from the ranking. I will return them at the end of the contest to give credit to the entries I liked that are not among the finalists.

I will send specific instructions individually to the three remaining designers and will be requesting some revisions & alternatives. My plan is to then present the finalists to my employees and a couple of customers for a vote of their favorite.

Wow. 348 entries! Thanks again to everyone. I'm submitting to a small group of people for review, the ones that are currently ranked are in no particular order, I will re-rank and include more entries in the final ranking in the coming days.
