old world emblem (im thinking of the ferrari symbol up there) would be cool as much as something web 2.0 styled could also be very good. A knight, a castle, a shield, keys, a lock, paper/ document symbol could all be good things to use. I could see this either being very simple or rather old world complex.

comments on #1, #2, #3 In general I think I want to stay away from showing a house because this is not home security. None the less in general I like the concept here. Until I read your description I didn't get that was a house. Maybe it would have been more obvious by making the top of the lock the roof? like the way you made each word a different color. I'd like to see some kind of uploading arrows potentially.

I can see this logo being really fancy ornate, knight, castle, shield etc.. making it look like a 200 year old company. This is a sister site to http://www.cobrokenation.com so web 2.0 style is ok too. I want the sites to have their own separate style. To give you ideas I like the top 3 logos at sermon browser but obviously different symbolism elemetal's winner - something along those lines could work (although I think the shield for mine wouldn't be as thick) and rhyno automotive winner also had a shield emblem. I'm curious to see what could be done with a castle or a knight. A simple lock with good font/ text colors could also be very nice and simple. I really like the color purple/blue with an orange. Black is good or black and gold could be good. I am pretty open on colors.

as far as emblems.. something like cliff baron brewery but images of security and real estate deals (not home security). I think uploading arrows might be a nec part of any logo?

maybe not the uploading arrows if you are going for the 200 year old logo style..

#4, #5 logo should be on a white background. I don't love the house in a house part. That inner house with the upload inside is not bad with a different color scheme. Could we try that in gray purple and orange? Keep that house maybe white with drop shadow to offset it from t he background? thanks for posting!

#1 & #2 are pretty much tied. #3 I don't like the shadowing and color scheme but has potential there. thanks everyone for the great work!!!

just on style/genre I like the text of #1 and the symbol of #6. I need something that looks serious (not too cartoonish)

I like the font of #23 not sure it works with all applications (ie the old world stuff but I really like it)

another image that could be good would be a briefcase with a lock maybe with some page is in it. Also I don't see alot of uploading arrow designs. I like uploading arrows.

#69 is the closest to the genre I've been looking for as far as sheen and seriousness.
