Our Ideas & Additional Information

I like the idea of a logo design of an old official seal or stamp. Not very ornate. Just old-looking, and official. Also, I like the idea of possibly including a bee. A bee is symbolic because it represents great strength. It's wings are not supposed to support the weight of their bodies in flight and yet they fly. If there is an elegant, simple representation of a bee (perhaps a silhouette), then I'd consider including a bee. (Maybe a bee creates the ampersand???)

really beautiful work so far! i love the direction of the emblems but id love to see more submissions that use the reference image more. and include a Napoleonic bee image. Additional text to add:

i have all the images i need of the circle emblem. ive now uploaded an image of a piece of a rectangular old ruler on a chain . id like to see a version of the logo that creates the look of a piece of an old ruler similar to this one (without chain), using the old type-set font, the faded old wood look, with copper or bronze metal edges / borders & the standard measurement lines.
