Love the symbol/illustration. Great direction. Can you play with the name/typeface a little? I think the royal blue fights with fun symbol/illustration and I'd like to see these two elements work together better. Here we loose the word America completely which will get worse when the logo is reduced even more in places like Facebook and Twitter.
How can the type style be more legible and effective along side this great drawing/symbol?

I hesitate in asking you to work on it a little more but we do like where this direction. I know you have already made some revisions and appreciate your participation. I just feel the type style is still scews too young. We did use the words flirty and whimsical in our brief which I am sure lead you in this direction. That said, it was in an effort to move the work we were receiving out of the very serious corporate arena which simply just isn't our brand.

Your creative direction takes us to where we want to go...but just a little beyond it as well. I am hoping we can pull back on the typestyle to place us somewhere on the "credible/professional/resourceful" spectrum.
I believe that the whimsy of the illustration -- driven mostly by the roofline of the house -- needs to be balanced with a typeface that is less childlike. Entry #84 comes closest, but the rocky baseline still takes it too far. Entry #81 is more legible, yet the strength of the red is too much....I prefer the illustration/colors in Entry 81 yet would like to stay in the spring tones/palette...not necessary to stay with the green/blue orange that we have seen in other entries. We are open to other colors...but the red is just a little too primary.

Thanks a million for these. Could we work on #95 just a little more? Can we see RID and RIGHT in green, and IT in black? Then could you slide it up just a tad to be closer to the globe.....not overlapping, just closer?

Perhaps it is the fact that it is all in caps that makes it sit/read as a separate block/design element. It's either the color, or because it is all upper case that the logo doesn't feel unified here. Upper and Lower case treatment and softer colors may help? Just a thought. Over to you. :)
