What We Do
We are a new document management firm that specializes in selling digital copiers. This is our slogan of the moment, but if one of the artists comes up with a better one along with their logo, we will be excited about that.

Color Preferences
We want BLUE as a main color, and either Navy blue or Royal blue depending on how the logo is designed.
We also like a bright orange as a main color or accent, and perhaps silver, titanium or a sharp gray as an accent color. It is possible that blue and silver (or gray or titanium) without the orange will do the trick.
Here are the colors we like:
Blue: PMS 2955 for Navy type blue and either PMS 286 or Reflex Blue for Royal type blue
Orange: PMS 021
Platinum: PMS 877 or Cool Gray 6
Our Ideas & Additional Information
PLEASE READ THIS THOROUGHLY INCLUDING ALL COMMENTS as there have been some new ideas and clarifications.
One thought is to make a large, thick and bold RT and leaving the R open at the top left and show data / documents / info entering the R and flowing through the R and then entering the T and exiting out of the upper right if the T. This is supposed to symbolize data entering a digital copier and exiting as a finished document. This is not mandatory, but we think this will look good. Also, if the RT looks strong enough, have our name written below it in lower case letters, with the resolute in bold and technology not bolded but in same font. One of our staff also thought making the end of the T look like a finisher with paper on it would be a good idea. As you can tell, we need some HELP! We want people to look at our logo and know what we do, however we do not want to be pigeonholed as just another copier company.

I am appreciative of those wishing to work on this, and I am positive we will find the perfect logo by the time this ends. Let me reiterate a few things to help everyone:
1) Though I know the brief is long, please read all of it.
2) If we use RT in our logo, then we want the letters together and not just a R by itself
3) We prefer to have the name resolute technology in all lower case, especially if we have the R and T in very large, thick strong looking and bold lettering
4) We are not dead set on having R and T in our logo, and if someone comes up with a creative mark that hits the spot, we will definitely consider it.

ThANK YOU again for your efforts, and KEEP IN MIND that we are a new company, and we will be needing other creative work done, and there is a chance we will allow the winning designer to sell us additional services as well.

While there are definitely some very good and creative designs, we are not there yet with "the one" that we look at and day that is it!
We welcome designers coming up with their own creative designs and tag phrases, and as mentioned in the brief, we might see a mark or logo or tag phrase that is not something we were originally thinking of and we realize that one is "the one". By all means, you are all creative and good at what you do, so I do not want to hold you back from that.

Please read the entire brief, and make note of some of our specific preferences, such as colors, and having resolute technology spelled out in all lower case. The tag phrase should likely be in silver or gray and written in small letters underneath resolute technology and be pretty subtle.

One of the things about ALL of the designs is they are not making the R and T big or fat enough, and strong looking enough. We would like to see the R and T stretched out some so it is longer. Most designers are going for more tall looks versus a shorter R and T and a stronger, thicker and more firm looking R and T. The shorter, fatter, and thicker letters may not end up looking good, but I would at least like to see them to know for sure. Also, nobody has been able to make the look of having data enter the R on the top left, and go through the R and into and out of the T, which is emblematic of data entering a digital copier form the network and coming out of the copier as a finished document / image.

One other possible route:
We do not really want our logo to blatantly have a document in it, or to have a document as the center piece of it, but WHAT IF we made our R and T with blocks/ squares (like pieces of paper), and had them leaning forward, and used blue as the main color for most of the squares and orange or silver for the squares that connect the R and T at the top and let the T use the block of the R to begin the T and the last block (piece of paper) on the right side of the T was folded back on the edge like a piece of paper? I am not sure I am allowed under Logo Tournament rules to do this, but I can perhaps post a picture that is similar to this or email it to anyone who wishes to see it.

Sorry for this being so long but as a new company this logo is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we will do and we want it to be perfect.

Thank you for all of your hard work!

#107- The actual design is not quite there, though it is not bad at all, but if we decide to go with blue and silver (without orange) then these colors are PERFECT, absolutely PERFECT! Not saying we will go without orange, but if we did, these are the colors for a blue and silver logo.

Thanks

#152 and #154-Why were those designs removed? I am not sure why this person was banned, but they were some of my favorites, so I suppose someone should try to come up with something like them, if that is allowed.

Hello everyone! It does not appear that our initial idea of the large R and T with data is going to materialize. I appreciate those of you that tried this, but either it is impossible or it will not look good. I still would like to see what it will look like, and if anyone tries read the comments and remember a shorter, fatter, bolder and longer R and T sort of stretched out is the look we have been shooting for.

Anyhow, we are down to the wire, and at this point we are looking for the best mark available that is stylish, crisp and bold, while not being too wild. Thanks for all your hard work!
