Our Bridge to a Stronger Tomorrow
What We Do
This Logo is for the Cities of Beverly and Salem, Massachusetts' joint climate action & resilience plan. Below is our messaging on this process.
Along the North Shore, a stone’s throw from Boston, Beverly and Salem form a hub of history, culture, and economic activity. For almost 400 years, as coastal neighbors we have evolved as unique communities with our own personalities, yet we are graced with the foresight and determination to tackle challenges head on together. Linked together by bridges and a rich heritage, Beverly and Salem are also connected by a shared vision for a resilient future.
We breathe the same air, our boats navigate the same waters, our cars travel the same roads, and our bikes meander the same paths. Just as relationships and commutes cross over the bridges between Beverly and Salem, so will climate change. We are both already experiencing sea level rise, more intense storms, and heat waves that could take a toll on everyone who makes Beverly and Salem their home. The path to prepare for these impacts and ensure a healthy future is one we will take together.
Resilient Together is our collective action in the face of the climate crisis: our Climate Action and Resilience Plan. We’re embracing a proactive, collaborative approach to ensure that Beverly and Salem remain inclusive and thriving communities, attractive and accessible to diverse families and businesses.
As communities steeped in history and passionate about the future, we will draw on the unique strengths of each community, tap into each other’s successes and lessons learned, and share resources. We’ll rise to the challenges and opportunities related to climate change and resilience -- from affordable housing to clean energy, smart transportation to waterfront growth.

Our Ideas & Additional Information
Salem, MA has a very strong distinction with witches HOWEVER, Please DO NOT include witches, brooms or pumpkins. Or anything associated with that. We are so much more.
We are very open to bridges and water imagery. We are both coastal communities.
