What We Do
We make community investments that increase economic prosperity, improve outcomes for families, and make distressed neighborhoods into better places to live and grow.
Industry
Non-Profit
Color Preferences
No grey, black, white, navy or muted or dark colors. No garish combinations, and nothing too flashy or harsh. The colors of the logo will be used throughout a website so colors that are warm and vibrant are best.
Our Ideas & Additional Information
The logo should demonstrate community members coming together to solve community challenges. The name "Resilient Communities/Resilient Families" should be on the logo but given the long name, the "R", "C", "R" and "F" should be bolder and highlighted more. The logo needs to effectively communicate people and place.

Hi! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest as it progresses:

~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage participation.
~~ Rank and re-rank a variety of designs to get a variety of new entries.
~~ Ranking gets your contest noticed! Unless your contest is private, 1st place entries are posted to the portfolio page: https://logotournament.com/portfolio
~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered.
~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested"
~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation.
~~ Ranking is a non-monetary means of showing appreciation for designers hard work.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked in the top 10. We like to earn points.

~~ NOTE: While in JUDGING mode, the designer ranked in 1st can still submit revisions.

More detailed information on how to get the most out of your contest can be found here:

Another tip: In the logo, I'd like to see people, houses, neighbors - something that shows community.

Hi everyone - thanks for the submissions. I really like the color choices in #4 and #8. I also like the softness of the shapes.

So far we're really liking #13. It communicates people and place really well. We also like the bold colors of #4, but it would be good to see figures that are slightly smaller. The feedback that I've gotten is something that is on the smaller side and colorful, without being too complicated.

Thank you for the submissions. In general, I would suggest simpler instead of complex designs that are hard to interpret. The designs that are currently the highest ranked are the ones that demonstrate people and community - without having to think too hard. For future submissions, we'd like you to think about how you convey community - but in a simple way.
