Industry Real Estate Color Preferences Green, White, Black, Grey, touch of blue. Nothing too bright or neon. Our Ideas & Additional Information I appreciate old school methods and high quality service. For some reason I like a retro vibe (Mad Men). For me, I prefer this vintage feel because of the "They don't make them like they used to" mantra in terms of quality. In my market good agents are a dime a dozen but truly great agents are very rare and hard to find. I see a lot of great ideas being proposed. I would like to incorporate a piece of residential real estate such as a house outline, window, roof line, neighborhood (suburb), etc with a retro vibe. Having color in the logo is a big plus as this catches the eye from a distance. I am not too focused on using the Initials "RRG" however I am not ruling it out at this point. I don't want to put too many restrictions on this at this point and limit the creativity...I want everyone to have fun with this. I will be sure to post more comments. 10 years ago mresa Client Hi everyone, I will be away from my desk for the next several hours but please keep throwing ideas. I will review more entries either this afternoon or later this evening. I greatly appreciate everyone's efforts and time. 10 years ago mresa Client I noticed that the slogan (which is new to my business) is difficult to fit so I shortened it to just "Classic Service". 10 years ago mresa Client Awesome turnout for day 1. Everyone that submitted a logo here is very talented and I have been very impressed. It looks like the retro vibe is coming through and I like the variety in the submissions. I am seeing a lot of roof tops (not a bad thing) which is very straightforward and to the point. I like them but don't limit the design to that one concept. For some redirection, I can greatly appreciate some abstract work and other images that convey residential real estate. Have a great night, I review more in the morning. 10 years ago mresa Client I had a meeting with my group to get their insights. I will be posting more comments after we are done with our evaluation. 10 years ago mresa Client We are starting to hone in a little more and with the increased number of entries we are seeing great concepts develop. Thank you all for your patience. We are doing our best to remain consistent with our original desires. We have had a lot of ridge lines "homes" as a major icon and we would like to move away from that. Here is what the team and I have come up with in terms of direction:We need to maintain the vintage/classic look with font and style. My team likes clean straight lines...if that means anythingWe like the more subtle use of homes in the logoThe team wants more samples with the incorporation of a VINTAGE KEY as a subtle icon (used in the R for example)We need to keep it UNIQUE so it stands out against our competition and catches the consumers eye *We are changing the brief to reflect a little higher end lookI hope this helps. 10 years ago mresa Client I also updated the styles in the brief. 10 years ago mresa Client When working the key into the logo, we are looking for variations on a horizontal orientation as well. It isnt neccessary to combine a the house with the key. A stand alone key will work just as well. However, you can combine the two without it getting too complex. 10 years ago mresa Client The direction is great. The rankings at the moment are not complete. I am having another meeting to run through all ranked and those not ranked. We are working to zero in on more attributes so we can provide better and more specific in feedback. One quick overal feedback is that the focus should be more on a key. Posted a new key pic. 10 years ago mresa Client We are liking the key with horizontal placement. We like a simple key with a slightly oblong loop. Will provide more comments shortly. 10 years ago mresa Client The key and house combo isn't quite working out like we thought it would. Here are some to the point comments:Text:All BlackKeep the font retro, simple and consistentNo slogan, I took that out of the briefRESA needs to be emphasizedColors:Lets keep it to black on an off-white/cream backgroundIcon:Move the key out of the type and make it a separate icon on the left. Put the key into a SIMPLE "classic" Shape(i.e. very simple shield, circle, etc) but do not use the entire key. Leave out the loop but keep the grooved part. 10 years ago mresa Client Uploaded shapes examples. Keep it simple 10 years ago mresa Client Please note - the key in the shield example was first uploaded and referenced by Denzu. It is a protected concept. 10 years ago Mr_Do Logo Designer So you don't want us to use this idea anymore? 10 years ago mresa Client Not the shield. That is Denzus. Other shapes are fine. 10 years ago
