Relentless is an oil and gas exploration and development company whose focus is to acquire, develop, and harvest US Gulf Coast onshore assets consisting of
engineering driven, low risk, oil and gas plays.

The colors black and gold representing oil and wealth. Note that color gradients would be helpful in avoiding a monochromatic look.

Bees make honey. Bees are relentless, focused and driven - but in a productive way. Ideas to incorporate into a logo are a stylized bee or a honeycomb abstraction. Examples are provided in the attached. A drop of oil (or honey, depending on how you look at it) could be incorporated into a word mark. The name "Relentless" is an "aggressive" name. We want to downplay the aggressiveness of the name in a wordmark. We want to avoid being perceived as "angry" or overly aggressive in the mark, but rather diligent and productive.

While script typeface is provided, we would like to consider both script and non-script typeface. We don't want something playful (e.g. Twitter), but also don't want something bold and in your face. Something that shows diligence and professionalism.

Relentless will be successful if all THREE come together: Talent, Opportunity and Investment Capital. We like the concept of having "three" of something in the logo.

The mark should be a logo followed by a word mark to the right. We would like the option to use both together, or each separate in branding.

However, we are open to other ideas!! If you feel like you have the perfect idea for how to brand Relentless we would love to see it! Please don't consider all of these as "boxes to check." Also feel free and submit another idea that you really like based on your store of prior work. We are excited to work with a nice creative group of people!
