Nice designs, both. We like the colored lettering in the tagline in #35 and also the abstract graphic used in #34. We have posted our website on the main comments section. Could we see a design that incorporates the color scheme found there?
Of course, I will check the site and colour coordinate. I will also make a combo variation of #34 & #35. Will do this today.
You probably have your own references about what the 'arrow' represents, but I just want to share my thought: - An arrow indicates movement forward - to something better. - It also represent 'spear-head' technologies/solutions - The way it is drawn it also be perceived as a hydraulic tubing silhouette with a 3D feel
This version is all based on your site colour scheme (Screen/RGB version): 1. The dark blue used on Name, 'better' and low part of 'arrow' is the same as the existing name on top of the pages. 2. The mid-part of the 'arrow' is the dark colour from the bottom of the page gradient. 3. The top part of the 'arrow' is the mid-tone colour from the page gradient.
Important to understand here is that these web colours (RGB - for screen), will not look the same when printed. They actually becomes very grey. They need to be transferred to a printable colour space (CMYK).
I therefore presents two alternative colour variations that are 'print-safe' and will look the same on webpage as in print. Of course these minor changes in shade can be compensated by a printing agency with the delivered vector file (EPS) in the end of the contest. Although it might save a few bucks to be print ready. ;-)
Made some variations of the design with altered thickness of font, altered font on slogan and placement/colour variations on symbol.
There are only a few hours left on the contest, but remember that you during the 'Judging' phase also has the possibility to discuss alteration with whomever you ranked as number 1.
