Ramapo UnitedLogo Design Contest

We have a number of people who like the iconic sun rising over ramapo portion of this logo. General negative feedback is on the font selection (other fonts in our top selection are better, this font is "too curvy") and lose the "for victory". Make the United as big as looks good to you. Make two versions of the revision with and without the swoosh on the bottom. The thinking is that with the swoosh in the map portion we don't need both but we want to see.

Hate to ask but is it possible to try to lower the blue and increase the red and size of sun? A lot of people are gravitating toward this design but the main concern seems to be that it might be hard to see what is going on in the main icon area if its small.

I was actually thinking the red/blue divide would lower on the right not left. So it would line up with red/blue lettering. Can you see if that would look okay?

And make the sun circle a tiny bit bigger. The lines are hard to see. Longer lines don't make it more visible. Making the circle bigger would.

Thanks. I want to talk with the other guys about the final choice. If you want to send all 4 illustrator files instead of the final choice I can just declare a winner now. And then pick the final one later. I think these are all close enough.
