QwikResponseLogo Design Contest

I would be interested to see a take-off of the diamond logo instead of just the house logo.

I really like the way the text for QwikResponse is not just standard font but the changing of the text of the "Q" makes it part of the logo. The only feedback about the "Q" is that it seems a little feminine & not strong like the other characters. I'm not sure if it is the shape of the thickness of the Q.

I'm going to post more feedback on individual logos shortly.

A possible alternative for the Q is to have the stem of the Q start the arrow. Then it doesn't look as much like an "O".

~~ Please note: if you are asking for a design that will require several hours to create, to attract designers willing to invest that amount of time the prize should be at least $400-$500. All "Character" style logos fall into this category.
~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested." We'd like to know what you don't want so we can give you the design you do want.
~~ Designers earn points for designs ranked 1st - 10th. We like to earn points.
~~ The first phase of the contest is the "Open" phase, and everyone can submit during that time.
~~ After your contest's initial "Open" phase closes, it will enter the "Top 5" phase; only the top 5 ranked designers will be able to submit revisions at that time.
~~ The "Top 5" designers are the first 5 designers in a contest, not the first 5 designs.
~~ When "Top 5" ends, the "Judging" phase begins. The designer of the 1st place design will be the only designer who can submit revisions at that time.

It would be great to see some more take-offs of the diamond logo.

Also, our trucks are shown in one of the pictures attached to the brief. At some point I will need to see a version of the logo with a red background and the logo next to the wording.

I like simple, clean, modern versus bold.

I like the QwikResponse to have at least 1 modified character to it so that it doesn't look like a standard font.

Dear CH, was your comment to make the stem of the Q on June 22 start an arrow meant as a general comment or was it a reply to a specific designer. Please let us know as there is concern about that element. Regards

In response to Foss, the comment on the "Q" as an arrow was specific to #18.

The general comment is that I would like at least one of the letters of QwikResponse to be modified so that it looks more professional and custom than just a standard font, while keeping it still simple and clean.

THERE IS ONE LOGO I HAVEN'T SEEN YET THAT INTERESTS ME STILL:
If you look at our original logo that had a grey diamond, the symbols in the logo were really big because they went off the edge of the interior diamonds. This made it easier to read at a distance. I would like to see a diamond logo that goes back to our original roots but with a few specific items:
- 3D with a shadow
- Large & simple interior logos (construction, fire, water, hazard)
- Possibly a single color with gradients

FYI, black doesn't show up on the red at a distance on the trucks. The logo will have to be in silver, white, or some other light colors.
