The file has been uploaded. One of the problems with the existing one is that it is too complicated, especially on the trucks is it not able to be seen clearly.

Entry #18 really jumps out at us. We really like it, but we need it to have some more meaning. We don't know what the 4 boxes in the middle stand for.

Ah.. I see... So do you want to see the simplified version for the icons (water, fire,etc) instead of using the same exact icons?

#18 The four boxes in the middle are stand for as a window. So the logo has an element which still related with a house

btw, thanks for the feedback! This will helps me a lot to guide me to the right track so at the end you can get the logo exactly what you need.

On the diamond I'm not tied to the icons. I just want something that doesn't look childish, but isn't too complicated. It may just be that the multiple colors and curves made it too complex? Not sure. I should send you a picture of my trucks that I just put the logo on (major waste of money... bummer).

What if you put the house in the #18 triangle, or something to that regard?

Oh..that's too bad.. I guess you should have make a mockup design first before you put the logo on the truck so you can see how it looks..

Btw, I'm glad you like #18. The story behind the logo is since you want to concey "Emergency Services" in your logo, so I combine the triangle warning sign with the arrows to represent restoration. As for the modifed version, I put a house icon #24 #25. Let me know what you think about this

I also made another variation based on your current logo, but replace the diamond with house shape and simplifying the icons #26 #27

I like the house icon in #24 & 25, however I am not a huge fan of the text. I like the text in #12 better with the "restoration & construction" being longer.
Possible ideas:
- May you could shorten the tail inside the Q and break the connectivity of the letter at the tail like it is in #12.
- Or maybe take the Q exactly like it is in 12 and put a "heartbeat" at the bottom like you would see on a heart monitor (sorry, don't know how else to explain it)

I like the additional detail in #23 in shadowing / color, better than the original #12. Good ideas. I think it may be a little overdone though, may want to tone it down. Again not a fan of the "Q" as it looks too disjointed and not flowing.

Great job on the designs...

On the "Q" comment above, the purpose of the changes from the way it looks in #12 is to make it look more like a Q and less like an O

On #27, could I recommend the top symbol be a bio-hazard symbol, not a lightning bolt?

I would be interested to see #37 with a smaller "heartbeat".

#38 the bio-hazard symbol is too bold / complex. Can we think of another way to denote construction?

What does #55 look like with the house straight versus at an angle? I really like this one.

#39, what if at the start of the "Q" arrow you added a tail for the Q that went into the circle, then left the bottom of the "Q" arrow smooth like it is. Then you get the clean, smooth look and the idea that it is a "Q" and not a "O"? Congrats on being #1 & #2 on going into the final round...

On entry #39, the actual "QwikResponse" can you make a version where the butt end of the Q has a tail on it so that it looks like a Q?

On entry #55 can leave the triangle at an angle and straighten just the house?

Ok, scratch my last comment. The three in the design team just met. We are down to 1 of 2 of your logos & basically down to choosing between you and one other designer:
#119 but with the house straight and the triangle at an angle
or more likely
#27 as-is

In regards to the "QwikResponse" type:
1. Can we get an italicized text from #7 but with the darker colors like you have in #27
2. Can we get a tail coming inward into the "Q" from the start of the arrow?
3. Can we lessen the italicization?

Ok, scratch my last comment again... let me try this again to simplify it for you:

We are down to the LOGO in #27 as-is, if you could just provide a version with the house above the QwikResponse and one with the house to the right of QwikResponse that would be excellent.

Hi Cheyne, so after lots of revision with 58 entries, finally you decided to use the diamond shape again just like your old logo? why didn't you asked me from the beginning? :(

I apologize, and I totally understand your frustration. I personally liked yours the best, however there are 3 of us and I was over-ruled. I would be interested in you doing other work for us though for our website. I have icons and buttons that I will need developed. Would you be interested in working for us on an hourly basis? Well, what can I say... It's the nature of a competition and there's no guarantee to be paid although I've spent many hours and efforts in this contest.. I have to ready to face the consequences for being lost in a contest anytime.. so no worries :)
