What We Do
This is a logo for a product created by Beaufort Fairmont called "Quill" which will help customers write automated tests using Eclipse and RobotFramework.

Color Preferences
Blue - See the colors on beaufortfairmont.com. I'd like customers to understand that this is one of our products - meaning there must be some theme or motif that carries through between company and product. I would think this would be easiest to do by using similar colors as those in the Beaufort Fairmont logo.

#2 would be the leader right now, but it's not really what I want. As I mentioned to raymer, I like the idea of having a symbol and the text "Quill" (or "quill"). I will need to use the symbol in parts of the product and other places I'll use the full logo (like on the web site, eclipse marketplace, etc.) #4 is the worst so far.

The idea of embedding a "Q" or "q" into the symbol/icon appeals to me, because we did it with the Beaufort Fairmont icon and it may be cool to do that again, if we can get it right.

Also, note that raymer attempted elegance as the name of the produce implies using the font. But the type of elegance I'm after is that of a mathematical proof that is simply and beautifully written.

Thanks and keep submitting ideas! If you have something completely different I'd like to see that too!

The logo or symbol part of the icon will have to have a version that looks good at 16 x 16 (really 15x15) pixels. Obviously, I want a cool, non-pixelated version for the full logo that will be on the website, but I'll need a tiny version as well, so the icon part of the logo can't be something that is distinguished only by tremendous detail.
