We like the color choices, especially in #29, #30, and #34. The text in all five submissions, as well as the icon in #29, #30, #34, all have an elegant look, which is important to us. Good choice of font and text styling. Can you suggest any slight embellishments on the slogan to make it a little cooler?
The general concept of a metallic exterior and a smooth (maybe even liquid) center that you have in those three icons is really appealing. We prefer silver outside / blue inside, like you have in #34, over the opposite arrangement, which is in #29 and #30.
The idea of an orbit, as in #18 and #22, is also interesting, and we'd like to see what you can do with it. The reason we prefer the other three logos instead of these two is for two reasons: 1) We are currently trying to avoid logos that focus on having an obvious Q shape, and 2) The blue "covering" on the silver Q is flatly colored; have you thought about lighting it from above? Maybe a nice, glassy surface would work better instead of the flat matte surface you currently have.
Returning to #34, it's definitely well made. We might like to see it a little more asymmetric. It may be as simple as just rotating the icon.
With the above stylistic guidelines in mind, can you offer us any other ideas that keep the same feel as these logos, but maybe have a more distinct shape, not necessarily reminiscent of a Q?

Thank you for the update. (#74) It might be a little better than #34 because it's a little less symmetric. We'd still like to see some other ideas from you that look and feel similar to this icon, perhaps just having a different shape. Please re-read the above comments for a couple of ideas. We're hoping to see some more original work from you; your design is currently one of our favorites, and we'd really like to see what else you can offer us.
