Slogan
Dum Spiro Spero
What We Do
This is the logo for a private golf club. Sheep were originally used to "mow" the grass on Scottish links golf courses. This club holds to the traditions of the ancient links of Scotland. The motto "Dum Spiro Spero" means "While I breathe, I hope". It's the town slogan of St Andrews, Scotland. This logo is meant to be whimsical, but also very traditional. The words "Private Golf Club" should not be in the logo. That is not the name. The only words are "Dum Spiro Spero".

Our Ideas & Additional Information
The main focus of the logo is the sheep. The sheep MUST be an original work. No icons!
The slogan must be included. The sheep can be eating grass. Possibly with an old school golf flag in the picture. If the flag is included it can have an "H" on it. It may be possible to include old fashioned golf clubs, but that can be cheesy, so be careful. Maybe the sheep has a club in his mouth? Again, might be hard to pull off. This logo has to have an "old" and iconic feel, but can also be fun. The ideal logo would look like it was created in the 1800's on Scotland. It can possibly be done as a seal, or crest, but doesn't have to be. The words, "private golf club" should not appear in the logo.
