Thanks for the comment. New entry #58. Included the words as you requested. Also changed the islands contour shape to be less abstract, as it was looking a bit too smooth in my opinion. The tagline realy balances the overal picture and gives the whole logo more 'body' to put it like that.
What excactly do you mean with edgy? As some people mean it as in more rugged or grungy, while others say it like they want it more unexpected, surprising.

Thought behind the front image of the building within the island contours is to represent princes wharf as not just beeing a venue, but its a part of tasmania. The 3 wavey lines as a reference to the bay area its located, and also its main purposes: Community, events and festivals.
