Should include a SUBTLE representation of the pride colours (Google "Pride Flag" to get the exact colours; also Google "Pride Toronto" for an excellent example of using the pride colours in a subtle but effective way.) Text is likely best as black to be neutral vs. donor logos - but open to your creativity.

Our Ideas & Additional Information

Two key things to focus on when creating this logo:
EMPOWERMENT - Whether it is outstretched arms or something more imaginative, this is the most important element for this logo.
SPONSOR-FRIENDLY - We will need to put corporate logos under the Pride Within logo - including a major Canadian bank.

Hi everyone,

OK, my top advice I'm giving out at the moment that we're looking for something creative but SUBTLE. It's of crucial importance that the logo be sponsor friendly - that a bank would feel comfortable putting their logo underneath, for instance. I like the strong, thick fonts that are being used in the shortlisted logos. I'm also not adverse to arms or rays of light, but again, simple and subtle is what it takes to pull it off.
