We design and manufacture ankle and knee high tube socks with rainbow striping (6 colors- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple), target market of gay and straight consumers.
Demographics: 20-30 year olds, male and female, world wide distribution.
Psychographics: Gay and straight population
Color Preferences
We would like logo options that incorporate either all of the 6 colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) or 1 color that can be interchanged with the 6. Will need to be primary colors and not pastel.
Our Ideas and Additional Information:
Objects in the logo options should be more abstract and less literal (ie. no images of socks or rainbows). In options utilizing all 6 colors please use them in the following order : red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple. A good example of this thought is the NBC logo as well as the original Apple logo.

Diamond Contest
We're sorry, but this contest is presently open to a limited pool of designers.
Please keep the spelling Pride Socks, not Sox. Looking for something more iconic...good examples are NBC and Apple (each have the rainbow color pallete in a brand icon). If the 6 color rainbow is used, we prefer some deviation from the traditional rainbow. ie, the color thicknesses should be varied, could include gaps between colors, can start with a color other than red or purple as long as the order is correct (ie. yellow, green, blue, purple, red orange; or green, blue, purple, red, orange, yellow; etc.). original abstract icons are encouraged!
Hello! Here are some hints for getting the most out of your contest:
~~ Rank designs daily -- this will encourage more participation. ~~ Ranking designs daily will also keep your contest from getting cluttered. ~~ The more feedback you provide, the better results you are going to see. ~~ Designers are not offended by "Not Interested" ~~ Over-use of "Not Interested" discourages participation. ~~ Ranking is a non-monitary means of showing apprecaition for designers hard work. ~~ Designers earn points for ranked designs. We like to earn points.
hello all! we just extended the contest 7 more days. we will have prototypes of the socks this weekend and will be able to see which logos best convey the essence of the socks and provide additional feedback. we are LOVING all the logo designs coming out this week! keep up the good work!!
Don't want to be in your SOCKS. LOL some great stuff with this contest. Just a reminder that win or lose, please rank as many of your favorites - some of us are new and desperately want more points. Thanks for the opportunity! MM
