Discussion

Please keep the spelling Pride Socks, not Sox.

We'd like to see some options without the black border. the entry #7 is more agreeable as it has an icon but i think it's too close to the NBC peacock. i mentioned that as an example not necessarily a direction. we like what you're doing with #7...maybe explore some options / deviations from this. font exploration would be a plus too. thanks!

here is an example without the black line, and i will explore more options for you. thank you

Entry 10: I am liking the design better and better. Can you downsize the icon and see how it looks in place of the 'o' in socks? Maybe another option, the icon to the left.

Logo Designer
this is what the icon looks like on the "o" of socks...i will work on an additional icon for the left side...
thank you so much.

we don't think we've found exactly what we're looking for yet. would you be open to exploring new themes? new icons and new fonts? remember, we don't have to have all of the colors. we could use one color for an icon that can be changed out between the six colors depending on the usage. our favorite so far is #18 but we'd like to see more diversity in the concepts. does this help?

Logo Designer
yes, of course i will explore new themes....there are 8 days left in your contest and way too much time to submitt all my ideas right now...understand, other designers copy others work...so i have to manage my ideas so others don't copy me...usually when there's 3 days left, you'lll get a blast of concepts...

got it! this is our first time so we're learning the ropes. great feedback, that makes a lot of sense!

how about this cool bird as your mascot? it can definitely stand alone and look great embroidered on your socks....very recognizeable...unforgettable! perfect as your own brand mark. This bird is proud to represent you.

hi! we like entry #82 but would like to see bolder colors. more primary. thank you.

Logo Designer
do you mean primary colors for the font only?
thank you.

i was thinking bold primary colors for the icon (#85) and black and/or grey for the font. what about red, orange, blue , purple for the icon?

the socks will have horizontal stripes with varying widths. maybe a unique idea having to do with stripes. the option we have ranked as #2 right now does a good job taking that idea and giving us an icon uniquely representative of the stripes. does that help?

Logo Designer
yes, it helps..i'll reflect on more symbols..thank you so much for communicating with me. #89

these horizontal lines represent your tube socks very nicely...what do you think?

i like where you're going with #96. if we're going to use 5 of the colors you should add yellow too. you could also vary the thickness along the line itself. another thought is to stack the font and place the lines below the font spanning the length of the font. for further inspiration check out the at&t and minolta logos ... they're a bit more dynamic/dimensional...could help to inspire other ideas for you.

i really like #89 but there's disagreement on this end. could you somehow add yellow and green to that option? maybe add inverted triangles to the tips of the logo finishing off the red, orange, yellow side and the purple, blue, green side.

thanks!

i like the idea of #182. what if you modified the circles to be more representative of how the stripes would look just below a knee and down a calf...?

Logo Designer
#199 lines formfitting from below the knee down to the ankle

#277 and #282. Can you make the colors on the socks more primary since the actual socks will be that way. love the creative side of this design...thanks!

#290...can you change the order of the stripes from red, orange (deeper), yellow, green (make it a little deeper/primary), blue and pruple? try some other fonts as well. loving this one....

will work on your request
thank you for your ranking....especially because another contest holder saw this design i made for you and invited me to their contest....very cool
as far as fonts, do you prefer san serif?

Logo Designer
here is my color combination edit and different font....to better understand what type of font you are looking for, do you want a sanserif? do you like a narrow look or wide? I can bring you infinite options, but would need your help in narrowing it down to the one you like. thank you
