Presbytery of Northwest CoastLogo Design Contest

Hi Designers - When thinking through a logo design you can use either "Presbytery of the Northwest Coast" or "Northwest Coast Presbytery" as the name depending on what best suits the design. "Presbytery" is the type of religious organization we are and there are 172 presbyteries in our denomination. "Northwest Coast" is the unique name of our presbytery so if you are using the name in your design "Northwest Coast" ought be the more prominent of the words. Have fun! We are really enjoying these early entries. Thank you so much for the great design work thus far! In addition to the style and flavor of these entries so far we are wondering about a logo style that might hint at the native art forms of the Northwest Coast of North America. Something that generally reflects this native art, not anything specific to one tribe or another, but kind of like the Seattle Seahawks logo hints at northwest native art. This is not to say we are leaning toward that style, just that it'd be great to see what something in that style would look like.
