Thank you for these. They show the kind of creative treatment I'd hope for.
I like this #110 ... simple but distinct. The looseness/spontaneity of the scribble keeps the clear simple fonts from being static. I like the high contrast shadow, almost architectural quality of the #109, even though I don't usually like 3D effects. Something about it doesn't feel right however. Might be the lower case or font - a little too chipper for the drama of the treatment. I am inclined to something that plays with the white space like this (#109) does - would be interested in other applications of this high contrast treatment.
for #110 I'd like to see some other types of scribble, more directionality/movement, perhaps more white space interacting with the "prac" - what does the scribble represent? e.g. acceleration, spontaneity, independence. Could the scribble itself be shown on it's own and feel like it has meaning?
Thanks for your feedback, I tried another scribbles according to your comments. Scribbles may also mean beggining of a new idea, first step of somethink new.
I agree, the scribble is a nice motif - I'd like to see the scribble open up a little more- right now they are all very black with the scribble showing at the edge. Not sure what technique/tool you are using, but I would like to see the effect with some different line qualities, e.g. thick marker, fine pen, thick marker, photo-gram sun blur - you get the idea.
Yes! I like both - and the energy of #145 is great - I think it just needs one more black stroke behind the A to make the tail readable so it's not an O. I also like that #145 is not exactly a scribble - interesting. I like the way the tail in scribble #144 is like a P.
We met to discuss logos and moved #148 up to number one. Elegant and creative was the general opinion. I would like to focus on that style of mark and look at some different font treatments. For example - what if the CIS were not black but appeared "stamped" out of the same scribble grass as to the left. Not sure it would be better, but it's a thought. Also different fonts - stay in the same vein, classic, clean, sans-serif. Similar weight, at least for the PRAC, but we wonder if there is a choice that would make the logo that much more unique.
But nothing stylized in the font - no slants, techo, or retro.
Your choices have been good so far. So I'll keep it simple: we like #148 and wonder what you would do with it.
Thanks for your feedback, I tried to aplly your comments. But #148 is based on clean, geometric curves in contrast with energic "chaos", using other version fonts are a bit problematic- #218 is better version, but older versions are better for reading.
thanks, subtle changes but nice to compare. i agree with your comments. We'll have to look closely to see which works better. The font is a little smaller in #218 and a different A - the scribble field in #148 seems darker. Could you make #218 just a little more dense/thick/dark - and just a little?
I've reviewed the designs with a number of people and your scribble concept has been very well received. It is quite on target. Though, I am not 100% convinced about the font. Please post the scribble graphic on it's own, and any font variations. I would also like to see 2 or 3 additional "scribbles". The thing I like very much about the current version is that it has the dropping "tail" right at the front that is like the tail on the p. All of them should have that.
