Thank you raymer for the first entries. I think they are a great start. I like the symmetry, the globe, and the lower case serif font. But I welcome others ideas too.

Thanks for the designers that joined so far. I have commented on the entries, but I also want to help with a few general suggestions.

I think the font is very important in word mark like this. What I like for my brand are professional, original sans serif or slab serif fonts. A font from a foundry like Fontshop can look so much better than a standard Apple or Windows font.

I see a lot of creativity in the designs. That is why I can't design a good looking logo ;-). But the envelope is still very obvious. My work is related to email, but focussed on the technology (systems, software). Another suggestion is to use an abstract gear in the logo, to highlight the technical nature. Or maybe a gear with a postbox flag, to point to the goal of my work, inbox delivery. But then well designed, so it doesn't look too nurdy.

Keep up the good work!

Interesting to see that the entries of some designers are converging towards each other. Maybe also due to my feedback. However I think there is still opportunity for new designers using yet unseen symbols or styles.

A few more general hints. Some recurring features I would like to see also in any new entries:

- colors: blue, grey and/or black
- simple, slightly abstract shapes
- no clip-art like effects (glow, shadow, ...)
- a strong modern sans serif or slab serif font

A feature which I have seen enough is the envelope with arrow. Please think of elements that can also be associated with email delivery, like gears, stars, postbox, hand, etc.

Thank you all for your submissions. A lot of great designs. It will be difficult to choose from. I think all in the top 10 have to potential to become a winner.
